⭐☆☆☆☆ Terrible service – complete waste of time

We attended a seminar held at Brick & Barrel Kitchen + Bar in Lincoln, where dinner was supposed to be served and paid for by the event organizer. My partner and I ordered two sandwiches and one salad.

After the seminar ended, the restaurant staff began serving food, but the service was unbelievably slow and disorganized. We waited over one full hour and never received all our food.

After about 25 minutes, they brought only the salad. Another 30 minutes later, they brought just one sandwich. When we repeatedly asked about the second sandwich, we were told “it’s coming” several times. After another long wait, we were finally told they could not bring the remaining food at all.

Even the seminar organizer complained to the restaurant, and the response was that we would need to wait another 20–30 minutes no matter what. When we asked if they could bring any food that was already ready, they said it made no difference—we still had to wait.

At that point, we had no choice but to leave hungry and extremely frustrated, after wasting a significant amount of our time.

This was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. If you value your time—especially if you are attending an event or seminar—I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

I was looking for a local pub after playing in a Senior Softball tournament nearby. The interior was nicely rustic with many TV monitors to watch sports. The wings and pizza were amazing. The service was administered by the Manager the 1st afternoon and great young employees the 2nd afternoon. I will definitely return.

Great local restaurant bar in Lincoln. Friendly staff. Great pizza and food. Happy Hour is a must. They even make an adult Root Beer Float which is delicious adult treat.

Such a good local find! Not only was the food great (I recommend the salad that comes with the coarser sandwich—apples and candied walnuts!), but the portions are huge. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. (I accidentally made eye contact and was immediately checked on.) Raspbery mojito was gloriously minty, so you can be assured that the cocktails menu is just as well thought out as the beer selection.

Other important notes: plenty of parking, good air conditioning, and lots of space for families as well as for bar patrons. There were a few games on the tvs in the bar, and people were avidly watching, but the sound was off so that non-sports-fans could enjoy the atmosphere in peace.

If you’re looking for a local place and think the menu looks good, give this one a try.

Went here a while ago and the pizza was amazing they have different sizes which is what I liked and there was trivia going on I think it was a really cool area I would recommend going!

We were able to sit out back, so the atmosphere was lovely, but the Service was second to none. Justin “Kimberlake” was off the charts and could not have been more helpful, sweet and Service oriented:) The pizza and cocktails were fabulous, but it was the service that will have us return:-)

The absolute best wings and grilled cheese sandwich ANYWHERE! Bartender/Waitress was super friendly and hospitable. We loved her! Took me 50 years and thousands of miles traveling, but the journey is over. I found the perfect wings!

Cold beer! Salad is good but small servings.

Jay took excellent care of us. Google said they open at 11 on Sunday but they open at 12. We got there at 11:15. A party of 11 still celebrating the wedding from the day before. Instead of turning us away he set us up on the patio, got us hooked up with drinks, and let us order the minute the kitchen was ready. The service was phenomenal and the food was excellent.
