Must try!! On my quest to find the Best Independent Coffee Shop in the Sacramento Region…I may have found it!
In fact, it currently holds my #1 Ranking.
What a breath of fresh air East Ave Cafe is! You walk in into the freshly appointed shop and are instantly greeted by a barista. Not only instantly, but sincerely greeted making you feel welcomed as a guest of theirs.
The interior is all brand new and clean feeling. Subtle music playing with plenty of places to sit. The menu is straightforward with enough choices but not too many.
I ordered a large Cold Brew with toffee crunch syrup. Finally an independent shop that doesn’t have the sour, fruity tasting coffee that most do in the Sac region.
Lastly, and most originally, this is a Christian coffee shop where the proceeds help an adjacent church. Anyone would be welcomed, seen, and valued here though, MUCH more so than the Starbucks.

Super good Coffee. Very cute place. The lady was so nice, we got there a few min before closing she took great care of us. I love supporting Small businesses especially when they give back to great causes. Stop by for a cup or 2 and help surviveors of Sex trafficking.

Great place to grab a tea/smoothie and go or enjoy it right there. It's so nice and cozy. Definitely recommend. I'm not sure if the guy who helped us out was the owner, but he was really chill and quick. Will definitely go back. Thank you guys.

Cute place, GF bakery items, and open on a holiday(!) One star off for only having disposable cups. Not only is it wasteful, there's something much less enjoyable drinking an espresso out of a paper cup 🙄 Let me know when you get real cups and I'll be back!

New local town coffee shop that has been in the works for a long time. The place is nice and there is plenty of seating to enjoy your drink and food. The staff is friendly and does what they can being a staff of one when we visited. Perhaps a second person would help at peak hours.
The food was good, a breakfast sandwich, and an english muffin. Drinks were good, standard coffee shop items which is what you are going there for. This is a good place to go to keep it local for your morning coffee.

Went here for the first time today. Wow, what a great little coffee shop! Relaxing atmosphere and their lattes are perfect! Also tried a jalapeño cheddar English muffin that was very good.(They warmed it up for me). Definitely will come back and tell my family and friends!

A nice new coffee shop has just opened, bringing some much-needed charm to this busy stretch of road. Whether you're in the mood for a rich espresso, a refreshing iced tea, or a caffeine-free option, their menu has something for everyone. Their selection of locally made snacks pairs perfectly with any drink, offering a tasty way to support small businesses. I'm so happy to see this corner used for something like this after growing up down the street and always seeing an unused lot.
The atmosphere is just as inviting as the menu—cozy, stylish, and perfect for catching up with a friend or getting some work done. It's clear that thought went into making this a comfortable, welcoming space. This place is definitely worth checking out!
The beautiful ladies working here were as welcoming and warm as my latte. We will be back!

We have been on a quest for the best coffee spot in the area. Was excited to try the new spot everyone is raving about. Walked in with a cute little cozy seating area ordered our drinks and some walnut loaf bread and a chocolate loaf. Service was great and fast. Enjoyed the seating in the brown comfy chairs. Loaf cakes weren’t amazing but also understanding they are new. Excited to try it out and will be back again to see how they have grown!

East_ave is such a warm and welcoming spot—perfect for a mom meet-up, family outing, or even a cozy work session. The space is family-friendly with a relaxed atmosphere, and Darla was incredibly helpful and kind. The vanilla latte was delicious! Highly recommend this charming cafe!
