We are regulars and dine here all the time since it has opened - and have never had a bad meal. Great food at reasonable prices and great service. We always get our same booth and the wait staff is always attentive.

Enjoyed the dinner. The service was fantastic. The wine list was solid. I eat at many restaurants, and the price was high considering the location and overall ambiance.

I have been coming to high steaks since last year and it's amazing. I really appreciated last nights date night dinner with my partner for our two year anniversary. Went above and beyond to make our anniversary dinner special. Thank you!

Made a reservation months in advance since last time we tried to do a walk in, it was a 2+ hour wait. We tried to check in a little earlier, but they mentioned seating was tight due to it being a busy night. I thought 15 minutes +/- should be sufficient to accommodate, but they did not want to budge. The ambiance was great. My wife ordered the salmon and I had the cowboy steak. SIde were mash potatoes and mushrooms. We were served the complimentary bread appetizer and the options were great. Unfortunately we indulged a bit too much and by the time the mains arrived, we were getting full. Steak was a little overcooked for medium rare, but was still tasty. The mushrooms stood out the most to both my wife and I and it was extremely tasty. The mashed potatoes were nice and creamy. Overall the experience was great and we would recommend High Steaks. Make sure to book in advance as the wait time can be long.

The lobster bisque soup is delicious. The shrimp cocktail is good but it would be better with larger prawns. The ribeye steak is fantasic. Dustin our server is profoundly knowledgeable in all aspects of the food and wine menus. His level of serice is five stars!

The vibe was quite peaceful at first but those coming in sitting at the bar offset that. Otherwise, from waitress, the bread and butter, wine to the entree and dessert it was absolutely delicious. I don't think we should box our own meals at this type of restaurant though, for the gratuity amount, this should be done by the waiter or waitress. Nonetheless we really enjoyed ourselves.

It was a lovely dinner, but the prices are obscenely expensive. My husband treats me to dinner occassionally when he saves up his players credits. Being retirees, we can't typically spend that much on dinner, so it's a nice treat. We were very disappointed to see the Happy Hour was discontinued, as that allowed us to come more frequently.

Extraordinary food and stellar service from Jose. Saturday night party of four, 7pm reservation. We went for the prime rib which they ran out of. The restaurant and casino were packed. I ended up getting the short rib which quite honestly was the best short rib I have ever had. The others had the boneless rib-eye special and the fried chicken breasts. The chopped salad starter was out of this world as were all the sides including Mac & cheese, scalloped potatoes, truffle fries, creamed spinach and sautéed mushroom medley. Our guests from the Bay Area who are total foodies and high-end diners were raving about the dinner. Props to Jose for taking such good care of us. Will definitely be back. Hopefully they won't out of prime rib!

Great food and service. A bit pricey, but worth it. We sat in the bar area! Noise level high.

Ronny was our server for the night and she was amazing. The surf and turf was beyond amazing as was the 12oz gentleman steak. The potato purée was delicious as was the mac n cheese. The chocolate cake was mouth watering.

Asians beware the high steaks restaurant at Thunder Valley is discriminatory to Asians. We had a horrific experience on Sept 30, 2025. The receptionist at the restaurant named Kellsie came up to my Asian wife and raised her voice in a completely unprofessional and disrespectful way. We had a reservation at 5:30 and my wife sat at the bar waiting for me to finish a phone call. She said loudly and completely embarrassed my wife YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SIT HERE. The restaurant was practically empty so I made no sense at all other than this lady doesn't like Asians. When we decided Leave on the way out I told Kellise that she was unprofessional and after 15 years of coming to high Steaks and I would never come there again. She said I don't care. To be honest she should be fired immediately. She is about 5 feet tall and 140 pounds, if you see her you should run. I did speak to her manager to let him know how disappointed I was in her demeanor. DH

Took my wife out to dinner here for our anniversary. After being seated (Adonis) got us set up at our table and brought us a variety tray of complimentary bread. He was kind and very personable. I noticed him interacting with other tables all while displaying a genuine smile.
Our waitress (Jordan) was spot on in taking care of our every need. She took our order and checked in on us regularly after our meal arrived. When she learned we were celebrating our anniversary she brought out a small chocolate raspberry cake for us to share. It was a nice touch especially while I was trying to make the evening a great one for my wife.

Thank you , Adonis and Jordan
