Always love dining at High Steaks when we are in town!! Steaks are amazing along with the sides. Stephen is our favorite server and takes such great care of us!

I came here with my wife. We had been wanting to try this place out. Everything was very good, but what I liked best was the sides. The Mac and cheese was probably my favorite. We also got the augratin potatoes. The rolls that they serve were so good. They had three kinds, cheddar jalapeño, a baguette and a raisin roll. They were all good, but the cheddar jalapeño was my favorite. I also ordered a salad. The salads on the menu were not salads that I would normally order, but my waiter made me a salad with exactly what I wanted on it, with ranch. I got the 11 oz filet for my main item. Although it was very good, I didn't think there was anything that special about it. Keep in mind this is a $60-$70 steak, which is why I was expecting something spectacular. Overall everything was very good and I would definitely come back again.

Worst filet mignon and lobster I ever had at a restaurant. Everything tasted like it was premade or microwaved. The filet had the consistency of a sirloin steak. Medium rare was brown throughout most of it. The lobster was rubbery and the salad could have been better at Panera. Plus it was about $170 for steak and lobster!! Go find a place outside of the casino. Maybe even Red lobster would be better ??!!

I'm very Disappointed today with them. My Wife and myself staying at ThunderValley for two days. We usually have no issues and as you can see, from my previous reviews with no issue. I didn't change my review when we came a few weeks ago. We had reservations and we were as always seated Promptly. We sat there with glasses of water as our waiter laughed and joked with the two women at the table across from us. It's ok and I would love to see familiar faces when I'm working. He didn't acknowledge us for about 15 mins and we just left. They asked us at the door is everything ok. I said no we've been sitting listening to people catch up. Due to our experiences being so positive, I didn't edit my review. Again, we're stay here and I chose room service to not have to deal with anyone. They brought me chicken that had pink skin with slimy under it. My room service employee was More than amazing and he saw exactly what I meant. It should've stayed in the oven about 20 more mins. I waited an hour and a half for my food. I tried to just cancel it, but he said no I will talk to the chef. An hour later I got my food and it was Perfect. I just hate I had to wait far over two hours to eat. We are all human and make mistakes. It's about correcting them. The only reason my stars dropped to 4 is because the customer service and food when cooked properly is Amazing.

Early Celebration Dinner [Lincoln CA] Hubby and I had an early Valentine's Day celebration here. The restaurant is located inside the Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln. My only complaint is that it is smack dab in the middle. When coming in from the outdoor parking area where the casino buses drop off people or from the parking garage there is no way of avoiding the smoke from either direction. Ugh! We had a reservation just in case the restaurant was full but it wasn't at all. A basket of complimentary artisan bread and butter was served followed by an amuse-bouche (I can't remember what it was but it is a French term for a small appetizer served before the main course). We ordered and requested to split a 19-oz "Bone-In" Rib-Eye with the Oscar Style add-on which included: Jumbo Lump Crab, Steamed Asparagus and Bearnaise Sauce. We ordered more Asparagus because the add-on was just slivers of asparagus, and also Yukon Gold Potato Purée (just a fancy name for mashed potatoes) LoL! For dessert we ordered Crème Brûlée to share but by this time we were already so full so we took it home. Great food and service but you just can't escape that casino smoke going in ¯\_('~')_/¯ Review #0749 updated

Stopped by high steaks for my birthday. Service was great. Our waitress was amazing (Thanks Ronney!) Pork chop was absolutely amazing. The only downside to this visit was I ate too much! The chocolate mousse came out with a candle for my birthday dessert. Completely unexpected at that. Staff was great, and all of them wished me a happy birthday as well. We didn't tell them it was my birthday, they already knew, so someone ratted me out in advance, but it was super nice for them all to say happy birthday. Will definitely be back for another of those massive yet delicious pork chops.

We came to Hugh Steaks for my husband's birthday. Our server Ronney was the best. She recommended the pork chop with huckleberry sauce to the hubby. He also got Caesar salad, French onion soup and creamed spinach. I got filet mignon and a baked potato with all the fixings. Restaurant is packed today so it is a little loud. You can still hear your conversation but I prefer when it is a little quieter. Ronney also let us know about desserts and as soon as she said lemon cheesecake I was like yup that is what I want. She brought a chocolate mousse cake with raspberry sauce for the hubby with a candle. Happy birthday sweetheart. Love you lots!!!!

OK you asked. Really liked the bread basket assortment. My French onion soup was excellent. We both enjoyed the grilled asparagus. My wife had the cioppino, liked the assortment of seafood but was disappointed in the lack of sauce and thought it was a bit salty. I had the bone-in ribeye steak, a real disappointment for the price. Steak had a few tender bites near the center, otherwise tough and very gristly. Very nice atmosphere, friendly, efficient staff, nice wine list. Overall a disappointment for the price, but that seems pretty standard today.

Excellent food. Excellent service (Gage was our server). Excellent ambiance. The filet mignon was very tasty, as were the side dishes. Every employee was friendly and courteous. Highly recommend.

The food was divine and the service was fantastic, but you are forced to walk through a smoky casino to access the restaurant. I knew the restaurant was at the casino, but it didn't occur to me it wouldn't have it's own entrance. We asked the front desk if there was another way to get there, or at least closer doors, and was told no. If you don't like smoke, this isn't the place for you. They really did an excellent job though and the meat portions are huge for a steakhouse. I just couldn't get over the smoke.Another problem (because of the smoke) was accessibility. The parking garage is not close to the restaurant. The only elevator connecting the parking to the restaurant also meant having to be in the casino.

What a pleasant surprise! My husband and I made reservations to have dinner before a show at The Venue. We weren't expecting much - thinking it would be cheap meat typical of casino restaurants. We ordered course by course and our wonderful server had the kitchen split our appetizer, salad, and soup for us. The best onion soup we have ever had. It was so balanced and not salty at all. The only food not favored by us was the potatoes au gratin, ordered as a side with our yummy steaks. Too cheesy and not creamy enough for our taste. I would highly recommend High Steaks. Planning on going back for another dinner in May before another concert.

The food was very good but too expensive. It was a birthday dinner for 2, Surf and turf, an 8oz filet and 11oz lobster, we split a baked potato and never received the mushrooms. My husband had 2 beers and I had iced tea and a pumpkin cheesecake to go for my daughter..am I the only one that thinks $500.00 is an exorbitant amount for a dinner for 2???
