High Steaks NEVER disappoints!!! I've eaten there over 5 times. The food is delicious and the service always superb. I discovered something new that High Steaks will do. Since you can't take food with you to The Venue to attend a show. If you have food to go, High Steaks will keep it in the refrigerator for you and then you pick it up after the show is over. Now, that's AMAZING service!! Our waiter, Dustin is AWESOME!! This is the second Dustin waited on us and I will definitely request him the next time I make reservations. Bravo High Steaks!!!

I have to say that sadly I was extremely disappointed. After deciding to pay $140 for a lobster tail, it was almost tasteless and it was hard and I only managed about half of it and my husband ate the rest and he said as well that it was horrible. Sadly, because it was my husband's birthday and I wanted a nice experience. It was our first time there and I'm not sure that I'll ever go back.

We went High Steak house at Thundervalley to celebrate my husband's birthday!! He was very disappointed when order an Australian Wagyu New York steak . the stake was cut into pieces , just the look of the nasty fat showing out, his appetite went away. The service was poor. We have been several times before and never had this bad experience.

Went here before our concert at the Venue because it was the only non-smoking bar. It’s tiny. The wine is terrible. Honestly don’t go to the casino ahead of going to the venue unless you can tolerate the stench of the casino.

I've dined at this restaurant many times before. The service is always excellent and the food is exceptional. Tonight's big surprise was that we got stuck in really bad traffic and we're going to be late but after calling them from the road, they were so understanding. Even though the place was packed they offered to hold our table for close to a half an hour. I know they can't do this all the time but in this case, our option would've been to change restaurants if they couldn't have accommodated us.

Had prime rib here last night. It was fantastic. Have been coming here for decades. Have yet to have a bad meal here. We've had the same waiter for close to 20 years now. If you want a fantastic meal and don't mind paying for it.This is the place best restaurant in placer county

Made a reservation months in advance since last time we tried to do a walk in, it was a 2+ hour wait. We tried to check in a little earlier, but they mentioned seating was tight due to it being a busy night. I thought 15 minutes +/- should be sufficient to accommodate, but they did not want to budge. The ambiance was great. My wife ordered the salmon and I had the cowboy steak. SIde were mash potatoes and mushrooms. We were served the complimentary bread appetizer and the options were great. Unfortunately we indulged a bit too much and by the time the mains arrived, we were getting full. Steak was a little overcooked for medium rare, but was still tasty. The mushrooms stood out the most to both my wife and I and it was extremely tasty. The mashed potatoes were nice and creamy. Overall the experience was great and we would recommend High Steaks. Make sure to book in advance as the wait time can be long.
