One of the best meals I’ve had anywhere, including San Francisco and Europe. The staff were incredible. Knowledgeable, personable and professional. They were able to accommodate my gluten sensitivity while the other guests in our party ate the standard omakase offerings for the night.
I have no photos as we were completely immersed in the experience!
What a treat to have a restaurant like this in the “burbs”.

Such a cool place to experience.
It's a good place to take a date if you want to be classy, but not boring.

Today was lunch and a go at the $2 Oyster Monday special which did not disappoint with a dozen Washington oysters. Chef dazzled us with several other delicacy's including famous Tuna Tostada, broiled oysters with Miso butter and the Barbacoa Soba bowl! To top it off we were fortunate to have the lovely Sake Sommelier on hand to recommend a few of the best Sake's we have had. Excellent recommendations made based on our preferences and palate and perfect pairings with our dishes! Time and time again I am impressed with the new creations and service provided by the excellent staff!
We had a amazing experience at the restaurant. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. We had the Omakase multi-course meal and sake pairing. It was a very unique and delicious meal made from locally sourced ingredients. The sake paired well with each of the six courses. Very happy with our experience and looking forward to returning in the future.
I'm always looking to enjoy new experiences. This is by far a unique experience. It's not about quantity but quality and different flavors. It's every course a blast in your mouth of unique flavors recommendations that you would never get to experience in your own kitchen.
Once again, Omakase Por Favor delivered with their amazing food and service. It's a treat for us to go out and we look forward to dining there, enjoying the unique food and warm environment. The service is top notch and each person we interact with is friendly and knowledgeable about the food and the resturant. We'll be back regulary and always recommend this resturant.
I'm a Saké Sommelier and one of 200 Saké Scholars worldwide. I had the privilege of dining at the Omakase Por Favor, and I'm here to rave about my experience. The cuisine is an exciting and unique fusion of Japanese and Mexican. The restaurant is quaint yet has the feel of an upscale ambiance. The dishes are fresh, innovative, and positively delicious. I had the Broiled Oysters with House Miso Butter and Atún Tostada (Tuna, Ponzu, Serranos, Cucumber, Red Onion, Cilantro, Lime, Sesame). The oyster dish was a perfect balance of the mouth-watering freshness of oysters, the umami from the miso, and the creaminess of butter, with a touch of citrus from a lime. The Atún Tostada was the ultimate refreshing summer dish. It was so delicious that I could have ordered a second serving. The final dish was the restaurant's signature S'mores dessert. I got to roast the homemade pumpkin marshmallow to my preferred charredness and sandwiched it between graham crackers and white chocolate. I usually do not like marshmallows, but this one was not overly sweet, and the pumpkin flavor came through just right without being overpowering or artificial. This restaurant also has several premium saké selections you would not see in other restaurants. A Saké Sommelier is on the floor to assist you if you are curious and open to immersing yourself by elevating the dining experience with saké pairing. I thoroughly enjoyed Chef Pecha's delectable offerings and look forward to returning for more.

Best service and food ever! Have been here about eight times now and it's always the same consistent great service and food. Staff, including the owner and manager are incredibly friendly and personable. Can't wait to check out their new location in Midtown coming this November.
Had an anniversary dinner here. Unique experience and food, enjoyed the seafood creations. The staff even had a hand-written note waiting for us, a sweet touch. Will definitely return! Portions are small, so keep that in mind if you have a hearty appetite.
Such an amazing experience. The staff were incredible and the food was perfect. Can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible hospitality of Maitre D' Alex and the staff. The birthday note and bubbles were a warm welcome, and we started off with some oyster shooters, which went great with the ponzu. We decided to go omakase and trust the chef, which was a great decision. Our six courses this evening were a snow crab roll with a peanut mole rojo, hokkaido scallop with coconut cream, peppers, and edible flowers, tuna tartare with aioli, pickled onions, and roasted corn, a salmon ceviche tostada, chili verde octopus, and BBQ albacore with slaw. It was hard to pick a favorite, as each course was so creative, beautifully presented, and perfectly paired with the wine. If I had to go with one, I'd probably say the scallop. The surprise hit was that normally my friend and I aren't huge on octopus, although we had never had it prepared anything like this. It was tender, flavorful, and had a slight char. Not rubbery at all, like my previous experience at other places that did not cook it well. We would gladly eat everything again, although we look forward to coming back and seeing what new combinations Chef Jeana comes up with. If you're deciding between the sake and wine pairing, we would recommend the sake. Nothing against the wine, but it was very fun to expand our horizons with a variety of sakes that you would be hard pressed to find at your local sushi bar.
