Our favorite place to go for date night. The food, service, and overall experience is always outstanding. The portions are generous and we always feel like our dinners are of great value.
Service is excellent! We have been here several times. Food is consistently very good. Lychee martini is perfect
I was happy to go to Red Lantern due to the family style picks. The prices aren't bad either. Customer Service is very poor everytime I have went. I had to flag down the servers everytime we needed something. We asked for appetizers first but everything came together. Then I asked for low sodium soy sauce and other sauces, we were pretty much done eating when she came back with one sauce. No acknowledgement. It was purely disrespectful when I asked if they do anything for birthdays, she said yeah wait it will be a surprise. I believe she did that to shut us up. There was nothing. No singing no dessert. Nothing. We spent a lot of money for them to brush us off. She could have simply replied instead of lieing to our faces to shut us up. The staff needs to be more professional and comprehend good customer service. Not cool. I DO NOT recommend it for a special occasion. I never do this but, this is needed. Not to mention I had to ask them multiple times for EVERYTHING! Not enjoyable
It was a bit unorganized, waitress forgot our drinks and part of our food order. Food was mediocre, overall for the price it was disappointing.
Q is amazing and always makes sure every diner has a great experience. The food is always exceptional. Thank you!
We have been dining at Thunder Valley Casino restaurants for 20 years. The Red Lantern, formerly Koi Palace, is an wonderful place with a beautiful interior, large menu, excellent food, and friendly staff. It's a great place to dine before attending a show at The Venue. If you haven't dined there, you should.
Great service. Seated right away. Nice atmosphere, but a little on the loud side. The food was really good, but on the dinner (express meal), there were no grilled chicken options. I have been there before and will go again. Great place for before a concert.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Red Lantern, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! After making reservations months in advance, we were glad we did, as the restaurant was bustling with activity when we arrived. It's definitely a popular spot, so I highly recommend securing a reservation if you plan to visit. The food was absolutely amazing! Our group of four started with delicious egg rolls and lettuce wraps for appetizers, both of which were flavorful and perfectly cooked. For our main courses, we enjoyed beef and broccoli, chicken and broccoli, roasted duck, and chow mein. Each dish was not only beautifully presented but also bursting with authentic flavors that left us all wanting more. To top off our meal, we were delighted to find a great selection of sake, which paired perfectly with our dishes. And we couldn't resist trying the coconut cheesecake for dessert—it was the perfect sweet ending to our meal! The service was spot on and attentive, and the restaurant itself is gorgeous and clean, with plenty of seating to accommodate guests comfortably. Overall, I would highly recommend Red Lantern if you find yourself at Thunder Valley. The combination of great food, a lively atmosphere, and excellent service makes it a must-visit spot.
We Celebrated our birthday, and anniversary. Our favorite Server who always takes good care of us. MIN is very attentive, always provided us with excellent service. He goes above and beyond always. We ordered our favorite dish , Seabass so delicious worth every penny. The green beans, Salty Chicken fried rice. Seafood with mixed vegetables. Very good . No complaints
I highly recommend a reservation, we've been there twice (fortunately with a reservation) and there has always been a line or wait to be seated. We were seated immediately and the staff was very friendly and pleasant. We ordered fairly quickly, something from just about every course, knowing that the portions are so generous, we would be taking stuff home anyway, so what the heck. The food came out quickly and was fresh, not sitting around waiting to be picked up by the server. The taste of the food was excellent, I had medium heat Mongolian beef and my husband had the honey walnut shrimp. We also ordered fried rice and the serving sizes of all the food were generous, to say the least. The staff was quick to keep our drinks filled and overall, THAT part of the experience was great. The part that wasn't so great is that people walking past were lingering around our table, and the staff was seemingly in no hurry to get them to their table (two larger groups). On top of that, they were loud and that took a bit away from the experience. The only thing missing from that was kids running around unattended. Fortunately, that wasn't the case. We highly recommend this place and will be going back soon!

We've been here quite a few times, it's one of our favorite date nights. The food is always amazing! We ordered egg rolls and chicken boat wraps for appetizers. For entrees I ordered pancit and my husband got Kung pow chicken. Both very good. Food came out quick and hot. Drinks were strong. We ordered the Empress margarita, Mai Tai, and whisky. Definitely recommend!
The food is nice. We went last September 8, 2024 to celebrate my aunt's birthday. The staffs gave a piece or slice of cheesecake to my aunt with a candle. My aunt was very happy with the cake. Definitely we will consider again Red Lantern Restaurant later when we will go to Thunder Valley Casino again. I hope that they will put back in the menu again, which is Crispy Fried Pork Chop because it became our favorite dish.
When making the reservation, I checked off the special occasion box(anniversary). No acknowledgement from staff. They tried to sit us close to, I think, was the bar area. When I requested to sit at another table, we were told the desired table was reserved for people with reservations. We had a reservation. I mentioned that and then was allowed to move to the table we wanted. Later, a person came up to us with a paper asking us if it was us. Confusion? The walnut prawns were excellent. The fried rice was flavorless and seemed like steamed rice with a very slight hint of color from ingredients, but not wok frying. The shrimp in the rice was good. The beef with broccoli was very watery. Lacking in flavor. Obviously, there was no care in preparation on and easy basic dish. The server was fine. No complaints. Nice looking restaurant on the web page and in person. I'm extremely disappointed.
Very accommodating for our group of 13. Flexible as we had last minute change to only 11 people. Very quick and efficient waiter that was very nice and professional. Food was good and he was great bringing and removing dishes from our table. I've been to many Chinese restaurants and I feel their service was definitely above others that I've experienced
I love Chinese Food and Red Lantern never disappoints. My favorite dish is the Salt & Pepper Sea Bass but anything you order is delicious. The service, the atmosphere and the food make it a 5 Star Restaurant. We celebrated a Birthday last month and they even brought out a special dessert which was amazing. It’s always a great experience.
