Great food and service. Consistent with everything, we have been here several times. Highly recommend.
We had a great dinner. Food was delicious. Service was fine too. Waitress was friendly. She took our drink/appetizer order, but then came back for our dinner order when our drinks hadn't even arrived. So it felt a bit rushed. And we got our bill at the end which also felt rushed as some of us were planning on ordering additional drinks.
I was sat at table for two. The dishes we ordered barely fit on the table. They were stacking our plates of food on top of each other to fit. The service was trash. They didn't take the time to check in on us to see how we were doing. The food was basic, nothing special. What a waste of a $100. I don't know what happened to Chinese Food, it just doesn't taste the same anymore. It's hard to find good Chinese Food like back in the day. I don't know if the old generation past away and didn't show the new generation how to cook but needless to say I will never eat here again.
We go to 5-7 shows at Thunder Valley each year and we go to Red Lantern almost every time. This is the first time we've been disappointed. The service was fast, but too fast. We were served our entree before we had half of our appetizer eaten. The chow mein was cold. And the honey walnut prawns were not very hot. We weren't asked if we wanted a second cocktail. We wanted dessert, but we were given our check. We did order dessert (coconut cheesecake was delicious). We felt rushed, rather than enjoying our dining experience. The dinner was not cheap. We will reconsider eating there again for a while.
We flew in from San Diego for a 66 Wedding Anniversary for my in-laws. The family was was very impressed and happy. Great job! Thanks again.
We recently tried Red Lantern’s weekday dim sum lunch, and while the food was genuinely good and the ambiance was excellent, one issue completely ruined the experience for us. When we were asked about beverages, we assumed they were part of the unlimited menu — especially since the staff offered choices without clarifying that drinks were not included in the package. Only later did we realize that the beverages came with additional charges, and they were quite expensive, even the soft drinks. Had we been informed upfront, we would have made a more mindful decision. It’s disappointing because the food and atmosphere are great, but this lack of transparency left a really bad impression. A simple explanation from the staff would have avoided this completely.
We vs ordered quite a food items. They were all different and great. The casino is smoky but this restaurant wasn't at all.
First of alll , I love making reservations on Open Table. Red Lantern is authentic Chinese cuisine and prepared deliciously. I'll dine there again!
Our 6pm reservation was 90 minutes before the 7:30 show at the Venue and that worked out perfectly! We were able to enjoy a cocktail before dinner and then enjoyed appetizers and our entrees. Every dish was cooked to perfection. A reservation is a must for this retaurant!
Red Lantern's food is always delicious & a nice portion. The restaurant is very clean. The decor is beautiful. The staff are very friendly & helpful. The waitress we had this time was very personable, her name was Mei. She made us feel very comfortable. We look forward to our next visit.

Always excellent food and service. It was a concert night so they were packed but had a great experience. Q is a great waiter. Love this place.
We had dinner there before seeing Trevor Noah perform. We were actually surprised by how good the food was! We ordered so many items from the menu, it's hard to say what was the best. I think my favorite was the basil chicken. However, everything was excellent. They were also considerate enough to offer to hold the boxed up food that we didn't finish until after the show. We were able to pick it up as we were leaving. That's incredibly considerate! Can't wait to go back there.
Our ladies night out was a blast - good food + awesome company = jackpot 🎉👊🏼🥰 We truly enjoyed our meal and looking forward to the next. Thank you
We love dining at Red Lantern with the family on special occasions. We love the big round table with the spinning top in the middle! The food is always really good! Drinks were strong and food was hot! My only negative comment this visit was that I noted we were celebrating a birthday in the Open Table ap and no mention was made of that by the staff at the restaurant. Last time they brought a special dessert. We will still return. It is a special place for our family.
