Elegant tea room with tasty food. Every detail was thought of. Service was excellent. Can't wait to go back.
This was a nice enough way to spend an afternoon. The tea room is small and located in a strip mall. They did a nice job of creating a cozy experience. I enjoyed the scones and tea sandwiches. I was surprised , however, that for $60.00 there were no choices at all. I would much rather have had an extra scone and passed on the petite fours. There was no choice with the sandwiches even though one included ham. I don't think I would ever go back.
My friends and I don't get together as often as we would like, the Tea Room is the perfect place to spend time with each other. The food is wonderful. The restaurant is cozy. The tea exceptional. We will be back
Always good food, attentive hostess, elegant surroundings. A very special place for friends to meet and celebrate.
Very nice tearoom. Low key and relaxing experience. Attention to detail in food selection, quality and preparation. Friendly and relaxed without being pretentious. Worth every penny.
What a lovely experience! The food was delicious, the setting gorgeous, and tasty tea choices. The owner mixes her own tea leaf concoctions, carefully creating and taste testing each one so they require little assistance from milk and sugar. Our group plans to return and bring others with us.
Took my mother to this tea house today for her 79th birthday. I have been to many many teas over the years so it is not a first experience for me. I am giving 2 stars. 1 because the place was decorated cute and another because the owner was nice but that’s where it ends. 444.00 for 6 of us to have tea..
Each of us was served ….
A piece of very gross quiche
4 finger sandwiches -all of them except the cucumber and dill were nasty. One was literally lunch meat.
1 cranberry scone which tasted like bisquick
And 4 little desserts. All of which were way way way too sweet. None of which I found enjoyable enough to take a second bite.
No soup no salad that was it.
All the tea was gross and the English breakfast was
Not brewed correctly so it was bitter.
No water on the table .
She served a tiny champagne at the beginning of the tea but if you asked for a little more I was told I would be charged extra. At a total cost of 444.00 to be charged for a little more champagne is insulting at the least. Especially when the food was just awful. I don’t usually write reviews but I feel ripped off and disappointed that my mother’s birthday was at this place. Gross food and unbelievably overpriced for what you get. Do not recommend this place at all.
I had a wonderful time at tea on Friday and will happily return for another tea time. The entire experience is worth the drive, money and time. Thank you
This is such an amazing place to experience and the food was perfect with the tea. Highly recommended, 10/10
The food is excellent everything you would expect in a tea. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Pam, our server AND the chef was fabulous! Could not have asked for better service. What a wonderfully relaxed, delicious and filling high tea. We loved it!
Nice experience but desserts not spectacular. I can't understand why the don't use tea strainers. Loose leaf tea floating in your cup is not appealing.
Just looks like an ordinary storefront, but inside is so charming and lovely. Tea was very good and the food amazing and beautifully presented.
This was a very nice experience. I took my Mother in Law and we had a pleasant time. Next time I would doe the standard tea without the quiche. The quiche was quite dense and filling, I think they put bread in the egg. It was very filling and made it hard to have room for all the finger sandwiches. There was a nice variety of sandwiches and desserts. I would have like to have had some lemon curd to go with my scone. The atmosphere was as nice as they could get for a strip mall space. All in all a good experience. I would recommend trying it.
Always a treat to have tea at Sortherton. My sister and I meet for tea several times a year and are never disappointed. Fabulous atmosphere, delicious food that always changes, and staff who are very genuine. Highly recommend.
