The Buffet at Thunder Valley Casino

We (us and 22 friends who used to REGULARLY brunch there) think it's a crying SHAME the buffet will not remain open...FOREVER! Was the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! ? ?

Slow start but I'm sure once everything is operational this place will be amazing

The same food since they opened years ago. When they closed the cafe for remodel in kitchen, they opened the Buffet. Not good. I think they reuse the food day to day. There were nats in the raisens, the brown sugar is hard as rock. We will not eat there anymore. 5 bean salad tastes old.

I went for breakfast, and the price is reasonable, and the food is amazing, and everyone was professional and pleasant!

I loved the dessert the best! Those little tiny chocolate cups filled with custard and fruit were to die for! The cheesecake was super good, and that little raspberry tart was super yum!The broccoli beef and sausage were my favorite things on my plate. I think the carrots were old. They were spongy. The flavor was good, but the texture ruined it. I ate 2, and it was 2 too many. I love carrots, so that was a bummer, but everything else was very good! Hubby said the rigatoni Alfredo didn't have much flavor. We only went to the buffet because the cafe was closed for maintenance. But I was super happy with those desserts, so it ended on a really high note, and I'd go back and try it again. If I were to try the carrots again, I'd only put a few on my plate.

Went here for the crab crab and more crab well the only seafood that they have is shrimp fried not worth the money they advertise $10.00 to $20.00 which is B. S. and no soft serve ice cream and dinner is $24.99 per person all of it really sucks except the prime rib but all in all not worth the money or the time . Red hawk is so much better...LF

Poor selection and the food wasn't fresh. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Most of the food was inedible. Even the sweets were a below mediocre. The entire building smells like cigarettes and the buffet restaurant is no exception. If you are hanging out in the casino maybe you don't mind the smell, but we came specifically for the buffet and it was not a good experience.

Great service! Happy to see the buffet back here. Food is decent, however very limited as half of the old buffet is closed off. For lunch, the carving station had turkey, beef bottom round and various sausages. They also had an assortment of pizza, desserts (no ice cream), Asian and Latin American dishes. The meats were a little tough and the pizza was average. Our server was very attentive.Definitely not worth the $17 price tag though. Would like to see an improvement in the quality and quantity of food.

Bland. Only hot pastrami and a turkey log..no roast beef. No tri tip slices ..not even hamburger crumbles. Just salmon..no white fish. No shrimp. No Italian, Chinese, country bar. Best was pizza. Even deserts were bland.. no ice cream..no bowls. I recall the 2016 era when worked HP. TODAY WAS FIRST RETURN VISIT. Just bland all. Not again. Jacks place at that casino above Yuma city is better..not even a buffet!

Second time here and it was a pretty cool environment. The service was great, very friendly staff. Food was great, chefs were nice ? it's all great the only thing I strongly hate is the cigarette smell. Of course there are "no smoking" areas but smoke goes through walls. You're gonna smell it no matter what. And smelling it while eating isn't super enjoyable. Second hand smoke is a real thing you can still get a headache and other effects from it if you come constantly and stay for long periods of time. (For the ones who aren't a fan of cigarettes) but other than that the prices are awesome for lunch ??

The Buffet is NOT open. This is why I stopped coming here. Now the Web site says they are open and I was duped into coming. Never again ?
