I have been dieing to come to The Tea Nook in Lincoln. I finally went and took my Mother in Law for her birthday and was not disappointed. I messaged the owner through Facebook to make a reservation and was able to get a weekend day that worked for us. Disclaimer: there are only two four tops and one two top inside so be patient with getting in during high requested days, the quaintness of the room and the service provided makes it well worth the wait! They had plenty of delicious tea options including decaf for my daughter and each person got a pot of tea. The food was amazing and plentiful and we had to bring a container home. My favorites were the croissant chicken salad and the cucumber open faced sandwich and the white cake. The scones came out warm and I believe they make their own clotted cream. The waitress was attentive and sweet and took great care of us. We will definitely come back for another ladies tea!

I have not visited this place yet. As a newer girl mom who loves tea and homemade snacks (who doesn’t?) I look forward to bringing her here and so does my husband. I hope this place makes it because I will take quality and passion over convenience any day. Too much of our world is focused on fast service and the now. This place seems like it would be a spot to slow down, unplug, and enjoy the company you are with. Hopefully see you soon!

This place is an absolute gem. Dena has become like family to us tea loving folk. We have been using her services for well over a decade before she opened her own nook -- and her love, gentleness, service, heart for tea and community is a rare find. Plus she has the sweetest help in her little nook when she is out for the day, she truly runs and operates this business with true passion and customer experience. Everything is fair and delish. Thank you for providing such a place to visit!

We LOVE Dena’s charming little Tea Nook in the heart of downtown historic Lincoln! It is so very special. I’ve attended her Christmas Tea in December, as well as made a reservation at the Tea Nook, and the details, charm, tea & food is absolutely both amazing & delicious! We can’t wait to reserve another date! Thanks Dena for bringing your small business to downtown Lincoln!♥️ ?

I’ve been to the Tea Nook a couple of times. Each time, it was special and delicious. I love the tea sandwiches and the quiche. The service is top notch and attentive. It’s a place to relax, soak in the atmosphere and settle in with your special friends and enjoy their company along with the wonderful food and delicious tea.

Walk into Tea Nook and feel transported in time with elegantly decorated tables inside a quaint room with a large window viewing historic Lincoln. A place to visit with family and friends with delicious finger foods and teas. A special place to visit with catering options as well!

I have been twice! The first time with my 6 year old daughter. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the food. My daughter had the teddy bear tea-so cute and tasty. The owner was attentive and gifted my daughter a small tea cup. So sweet. I returned the following year with my daughter and mom and enjoyed more delicious food. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will return. The place is top notch for an afternoon tea experience.Update. I forgot to mention I attended a Jane Austen Tea Event and had delicious tea and lunch…and come to find out, it was the Tea Nook who catered! Make sure to visit them!

The setting for this darling tea room is charming, nestled in Downtown Lincoln. Have fun dressing up in your “Sunday Best” wear that hat, pop on those gloves and immerse yourself in the experience. The menu is absolutely divine and we love that they offer a array of options, when you make your reservation. The mini chocolate Bundt cakes drizzled in ganache may be my kryptonite or the cream puffs with the hand made whipped cream and berries….The staff is kind, accommodating and makes you feel like royalty. ??We appreciate the exclusive experience that makes one feel posh & VIP.Reservations are simple and well worth it.See you at HIGH TEA! ☕️

My mom, sister, and I had such a lovely time at the TeaNook. It’s a small, quiet, intimate experience with the most attentive service. I have multiple food allergies and they accommodated gluten free and nightshade free for me. The food was delicious and I had no issues after. The small shop reminds me of a British tea shop. The decor is charming and the tea selection is wonderful. We came home with extra scones and a pouch of tea to brew at home. This is a real winner and worth the drive if you’re not local.

The Tea Nook is an adorable place to have tea! Being able to have a gluten-free high tea experience was so fun! Everything was delicious!! We ended up buying tea to bring home and can’t wait to go back soon.Dietary restrictions: We emailed ahead of time to request gluten-free high tea. Everything in the table was gluten-free and very good!

Through my booking process the employee I interacted with treated me like I was a nuisance and repeatedly ignored my phone calls or would decline my call and send me a text message. I had booked a reservation this via text in October, I called multiple times to speak to someone to verify and did not get ahold of someone for months. Finally, I called and the call was rejected and they sent me a text that they could not find my reservation. I tried to call again to discuss options and was repeatedly ignored aside from a text stating that they were too busy to talk to me and they would try and contact me in the new year. The text messages were much more aggressive than I was expecting including telling me their family was sick, and they were unable to see their children because they were so busy that I should not be contacting them to make a reservation. I feel sorry for the family but I was just trying to make a reservation and support the local business. I was honestly shocked at the entire interaction. It was unlike any customer service experience I’ve ever had. The reviews were amazing and the website looked cute so I was excited to have a fancy bridal shower but I do not want the bride to be treated like I was through my process of making a reservation.
