The hotel itself is very nice and the staff is friendly. The casino side is disheartening. Almost every single game we sat down at was broken or malfunctioning. Multiple times we won and it wouldn't pay us out. The front desk staff the next day told us that they saw a lot of busy, busy maintenance people out there on the casino floor that day and the night before. They did not deny that they know that that's happening on the casino side. The casino does nothing about it overall. I would suggest the live card games. Do not play the slots. You're taking even more odds against you by bothering with the slots, since they malfunction so often and they have signs on all of them that say if they malfunction, they are not required to pay you. It doesn't matter if you win. Keep that in mind if you go. Like I said, the hotel side was great and beautiful. I was disappointed, however, they do not keep the hot tub and pool open during the week. That is very odd. They can afford to do it. They should do it. The rewards benefits side also does not go into play until 24 to 48 hours after you earn them. Obviously, encouraging you to come back in order to use them. I did not hear one person win big while I was there. Usually at Casinos, you hear at least one group cheering. Overall, it seems like a greedy casino with a nice hotel attached. They did keep both areas clean.

Great quality food at reasonable prices and good service. Ask for a table in the back and you won't get the smoke filtering in or noise. The prime rib is excellent and you can get a nice baked potato. Desserts are amazing and made in house. The deep dish pies right now are so good!

I usually love the cafe but lately the food isnt that hot and also we all got prime rib and it wasnt good it was overcooked and really and missing au jus ,thin cut for the price. Was a let down because it was my brother 21st birthday

I used to love this place but theybanned me and didnt pay me $2000 I won over something that had zero to due with their establishment they didnt pay me a jackpot i won.like I said I used to.love this place ive spend thousands tens of thousands of dollars but they won't pay me $2,010 that I won talk about greed.

This cafe located inside Thunder Valley casino is a wonderful place to eat. I was pleasantly surprised. We were headed to a show at The Venue and the High Steaks Steak House was booked. So we opted for the cafe. Do not let the name fool you as they have top notch food. Great and super fast service and the quality of food was great! They are more than a cafe. We ate dinner and breakfast the next morning at this cafe. We loved everything. The prices were right on also. They also have a bakery with yummy fresh backed goods! I highly recommend the cafe and we will definitely be back!

We enjoyed this restaurant so much we ate here 3 times over 2 days. The food was perfect no matter what we tried. They have such an extensive menu with something for everyone. It's well-curated and all perfectly seasoned and flavorful. Portion sizes are huge! The pizza was massive and the fish & chips were shared size. They were also the best we've had since England, so well done. All of our servers and staff were so very nice, attentive, and accommodating. This place is a hidden gem that I would go to even if not staying at the casino.

They don’t take reservations but you can put your name on a list and they’ll call ya when they call you. We came here on Memorial Day. Put my name on the list for 12 ppl and got seated at 2pm. Both the food and service was very good. All the food was fresh, presented beautiful and the service was pretty quick. I will be back

Is thunder valley accommodating to people in wheelchairs? We purchased ticket for the Wilson Phillips concert May 30th. I have been on a cancellation list for my left total knee replacement surgery, originally in sept but they had a cancellation for last Tuesday (OF COURSE I TOOK IT)
I called thunder valley today after reading on website that they do have disabled accessible seating to confirm & to see what I might need to do ahead of time instead of just showing up and making it their problem. I was advised I could show up earlier in the day to talk to security? Also we have ushers that can help you to your seat? Uh NO I must remain in the wheelchair as to keep my leg elevated ( it can’t be down longer than 10-15 minutes for any length of time.
All I’m trying to find out is ARE you able to accommodate me and if not then please refund my 2 tickets.
I asked for a supervisor but she was busy, said I’ll get a call tomorrow.
We shall see.
