They no longer accept spa finder gift cards at the spa. I just went here a month ago and used it and now I have 115$ left on the card that I intended to use here and cannot. The manager said I had to wait 20 mins if I wanted to speak to her but that there was nothing she would do about it. she said I should have been told in my confirmation call but I went back and listened to the voicemail they left and no mention of it. Not even an apology except from the front desk. Not sure I will come back just because of rudeness of this policy change. Larry is a masseuse and absolutely amazing though. not his fault.

This is our first time visiting the Thunder Cafe and we chose wisely. The restaurant was clean . Our server Edward was by far the best of any server we’ve ever had. He was knowledgeable about the menu and sold us on the Prime Rib. “Served Only after 2pm”. We ordered 2 ,10oz & 1,16oz Prime Rib Steaks with Mixed Vegetables& Baked Potatoes. Oh my goodness the steak cut like butter and seasoned well. We will be back and request Edward. Hats off to the kitchen staff.

My sister in law and I were very disappointed with the service we received by our server (Zelma) when it came to the payment fiasco! Everything was fabulous and wonderful until when im trying to pay for our order with a gift card.... (didnt think it would difficult since it was a THUNDER VALLEY gift card given to an employee by Thunder Valley themselves...) and previously we went and got the total amount on the gift card at the gift shop, so we knew exactly how much was on there. So come to payment time, im not sure what happened she slid the card multiple times on one register and wasnt working, then tried an ipad multiple times and didnt work, then tried to use a complete different terminal and still didnt work.. so the lady asked for my ID (ME VERY CONFUSED AT THIS POINT) She said she was calling a supervisor to figure out whats going on with my id info and then didnt even have my gift card at this time either. She comes back and says she talked to her supervisor and they said that i only had 56 points and i couldnt use that for payment. I then even more confused, trying to explain im not paying with points, and she kept bringing up players club card and how i must have used the points else where. Then my sister in law had to point out on the back of the GIFT CARD, how we couldnt even use that at slots. She was very argumentative and really she was treating us like we were stupid... and saying we were the mistaken ones.. eventually she finally asked a manager for help after ALL OF THIS, and the gift card went through no problem with a remaining balance. But communication skills are most key in this environment.... First time ive been back since ng fiance and i had got food poisoning from them and this is the experience we get!! I will absolutely never go back. Other hand food was phenomenal this time around, we will miss tremendously!!

So this morning, I get off work at midnight and I decide to come to this establishment for the third time hoping that they would have prime rib, but unfortunately they don’t so deciding to get something else to eat the waiter angel decides to call me ma’am he does not correct himself. He does not apologize I, correct him and he’s like oh I am 6 foot and I have a reddish beard. I do not know how a waiter can mistaken, a dude look like myself a ma’am I left after that nonsense.

It doesn’t accept reservation but service is quick. We came here for the show at the venue on Friday night. Bakery at the counter looked delightful. Sever and food runners were attentive. Fried zucchini were freshly made. I’ll recommended.

Horrible. Sandwich been sitting for awhile as the bread was stale. Once they took the order we had to flag a waitress for drinks, then had to flag again to ask where our food was. This was the worst eating experience I've ever had.

Thunder Cafe is located in the Thunder Valley Casino Resort. We settled for eating here because The Buffet is CLOSED. Casino staff stated The Buffet closed in March 2024. Oh, we were disappointed. Anyway, we tried Thunder Cafe. The atmosphere was nice. Our server was friendly. My husband ate the blackened salmon with Jasmine rice and vegetables. I ate the firecracker shrimp with Jasmine rice and vegetables. Husband stated the salmon was good. He doesn’t say too much so choose the salmon dish at your own risk. ?There was nothing firecracker about the firecracker shrimp. If you looking for spicy firecracker shrimp go to the Panda Express at the food court in the casino. The Jasmine rice and vegetables were good. The shrimp was covered in a creamy yellow sauce that tastes a little like sweet chili sauce added to it. Not quite sure.The little sweet shop in the front of the cafe is delightful. The red velvet cake covered in chocolate is the best. ?

We went on New Year's Day and had the New Year's Day special. We had the pozole soup, beef medallions with stuffed shrimp and chocolate lava cake. Everything was excellent we enjoyed it a great deal.I especially appreciated everything being delivered piping hot to the table. I thought the beef medallions were the star of the show. My husband especially liked the shrimp. The pozole soup was the best we've ever had.The desert was presented beautifully.Service was also very good, the best we have seen anywhere in a long time.
