My wife and I have tried this restaurant twice now and we have been disappointed both times. The first time we ordered the Molcajete and the cactus wasn’t cleaned very well so I had a very small thorn on my tongue most of the day and it was difficult to remove. The second visit wasn’t much better either. First they messed up on the type of meats between my wife’s order and my order which we overlooked that issue. The next bigger issue was the fact that my rice & beans were really cold “Not good at all.” Now I understand mistakes happen. However as the table behind us received their food we heard them return their food because it was you guessed it cold also. I guess this is an ongoing problem after reading the reviews prior to posting our review. I will say the service was great and the staff was friendly. Our overall thoughts are the food is just okay but nothing stands out as a must try restaurant. Sorry El Molcajete but you need better quality control over the food leaving your kitchen.

Running late, was nicely pleased to find this place. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the food cheap and tasty. I totally recommend it!
