Ordered Menudo for takeout and 🤮 it’s like a very light red in color and has a undesirable Sweet taste like they poured Sugar in it to somehow preserve it, I would of been better off getting Can Menudo from the Grocery store, was told buy people in the neighborhood don’t bother going there but had to see for myself - just as bad as China’s alley , I guess shows me I should of listened

A friend of mine got a Carne Asada Burrito, and I got a Chicken Taco Salad. Both of us ended up with food poisoning that lasted a few days! My friend was worse off than I was.. fever, stomach cramps, body aching to the bones, frequent bathroom trips.. horrible horrible experience!

Was given old refried taquitos they were burnt the shredded meat was old rice and beans taste like leftovers. I ask her if the taquitos were frozen and refried she said yes , I said they weren’t they fresh she said than why did I eat them. I didn’t want to make a scene and drown them with salsa and guacamole 😫.

The flavor of genuine food is non negotiable. I travel from Clovis to Lindsay, CA, to enjoy an authentic "Molcajete." I order the small molcajete because my wife never eats too much. It was more than enough for both. 1. When the stone, Molcajete cooks the nopal, chicken, steak, chorizo, and shrimps in addition to onions, garlic, chili toreado, and sensation lowering the spicy level. 3. I have to talk about the corn tortilla de maiz as a separate item because of the admirable consistency, perfect coocking time, body flexibility, and the present natural flavor to corn that will help to manage the spicy hot chili. 4. The true avocado salsa is perfect and celestial because it is 90% avocado. It is not salty, sour, or invaded by onions. 5. The porción of rice and beans are the basic ingredients to tolerate the spicy food and satisfy my appetite. 6. I enjoyed mixing a little piece of chicken, beef, jalapen̈o, nopal, and hot salsa of the Molcajete over all with rice and bean. 7. When I feel the sweet torture of the spicy chili, I take a piece of cheese and tortilla and zip of cold Coca-Cola.
8. Service: I feel that I was eating at home with my sister's.
People, if you want a real Molcajete, taste this place. Let them know what you are expecting. Then, when you, like me, at the time to pay $48 dollars in total, it will be reasonable.
VERY IMPORTANT!
I'm returning because I know this place with the original owner. I think it was a little better for some reason, but it does not change my 5 stars.
AIR CONDITIONING. It was broken at 102 degrees outside. "I never, ever, accept to eat anywhere without air conditioning. However, everyone was trying to fix it. It was not fixed. My wife knows me, and she agreed to go to any other restaurant returning home. The ladies installed fans in all directions, and I felt the weird sensation that I was between family. My body adapted the conditions, and the winds released the heat. My wife was surprised that I was happy.
BATHROOMS. It was clean. No new, but it was very clean. The toilet and sink look white and shiny. I always act as a gentleman and help to keep it clean as I find it.
RESTAURANT NEW OWNER. Please, work smart to get more 5 stars reviews. It is not the time to rest. It is the time to create your "personal brand.". The people should say. The new owners are better than the classic former owners. Please keep your eyes in the perfect cooking time and ingredients. Please do not lower the quality or portion. You can increase the price or negotiate better with your vendors, but your Molcajete should be treated as the king.
