The food here was so delicious!!! As Mexicans, foodies and cooks our standards for good Mexican food are often too high for local food. We travel to Mexico when we want really great Mexican. This place was shockingly good. The mole was authentic- spicy and flavorful. The cemita poblana was big and the meat was perfectly fried. We were the only two people eating at lunch so please come eat here so they stay around for years to come! We will be back for more ?

Seems like a family run restaurant, but they definitely need to upgrade their basic service. They served chips and salsa, but the salsa was served in one of those tiny take-home mini plastic containers. So u get like a tablespoon.Chips were store bought blah.Went to try the Mole Poblano. I asked the waiter if they made hand-made corn tortillas, and heseemed confused. Then he said yes. So I asked for the handmade tortillas. When the food was brought to my table, the tortillas were wrapped in foil. There was no tortilla warmer.I mean, ok, just another observation. But these should be basic items. The Mole was ok. It was dark and rich, but unfortunately, it lacked any flavor. When I opened the tortilla foil, the tortillas were store bought. When the waiter finally came by to check, I told him hey these are not hand-made tortillas. He then asked me , "They're not?".I said look these are store bought."He then asked, "So u want hand made?At that point, I figured I don't think this guy knows the menu here..I told him, "Do u mind asking the kitchen if they make handmade tortillas?"He went and asked. He then came back to ask what kind?OMG. I was ready to just leave..I said corn. He left, then he came back again to ask, "How many?"I should have said 1 dozen to take home, but said 3.By the time they made the tortillas, the food was cold.I just took it to go.Then paying was another ordeal. They seemed to have problems with the older type of credit card machine..That's my honest review. I wish I could give more stars, but 3 is about right.

We thought we were going to get real authentic Mexican food. The chile relleno was not even close to being authentic. They don't put hominy in their menudo and the fajitas de res were just Plano.. the salsas are good and the staff is nice but the food wasn't good that day. Won't come back.
Very quiet and the food very good ?
