Hole in the wall Chinese, very small shop with very small parking lot, only a handful of parking spots. Service was fast and friendly. Got Mongolian beef, had better, texture was very tender and soft, also had a sweet flavor which wasn't expecting. It smelled very good. To go packaging was interesting. Also, this resturant is take out only as there's no room for any tables for dining in.

Paid $26 for chow mein and wontons and tipped them as well and when I get home to open the bad they gave me “wontons” that are hard and cold and have nothing inside of them. Waste of money trash food and the chow mein had no flavor.

Food is pretty good for the Lodi area. (Definitely better Chinese food/ quality out there, just not in Lodi so this is just a nice option for Lodi.) Customer service is always outstanding and the atmosphere is a step back in time, where nothing has changed since it opened it seems. We love Chop Chop is will always come back.

Man I have been coming to chop chop as a child. I haven't been back in about 1 year. Man the food has gone way downhill. The sweet and sour has no sauce and it's really light colored low on flavor. The fried rice is really lighter color than before and The Taste has gone downhill. Even the chow mein is very dry. Super disappointed that this iconic restaurant changed the food.
GARLIC CHICKEN ON HIT
After 20 years of chop chop I find the taste and food has gone down hill , it use to be better when the Chinese lady was there , I will not return
This place needs a makeover but the food is fresh and the general chicken so far is better than orange and sweet and sour chicken. The zucchini was chopped up squash and deep fried always fresh, the chicken egg rolls were not good to me but my kids enjoyed them.
The service was great and the portions were generous. The food was delicious, but it is take out only. No inside dining. Worth it though! A great option if you want to grab and go. I had the asparagus chicken. So good!!
Parking: The parking lot is small, but there are usually open spaces.

I’ve been around the chicken industry my entire life. 100% without a doubt, my lemon chicken was lab grown chicken. Stringy nasty fake meat!
