Very disappointed. Had been two other times, ordered the same thing, walnut prawns, house fried rice. This the we recieved some corn puff looking prawns 80% breading. Went back to restaurant asked the guy at the register about it, he insisted it was prawns prepared the same. Not even close. No offer to remake, no customer recovery effort. Will not go back. Terrible

We were excited to try this restaurant, but sadly the Mongolian chicken was so salty, we had to throw it away. At least the fried rice, chow mein and egg roll was good. Not sure if we'll order from here again.
Really good food, and amazing portions and always super fresh

I have loved Chop Chop through the years and have not been in a few years. Went today and ordered Lemon Chicken..the order was huge but when I went to eat noticed they are not using real chicken breasts..think McNuggets.
Will not go back..

The beef was really bloody inside. It was so mushy that the meat had fell apart in pieces. It was so gooey. I had absolutely no flavor. The rice was dry and the chicken was so hard barely had any chicken on the bones and way too much zucchini when you order zucchini and beef. I only got like four pieces of meat out of an entire tray of zucchini and beef.

Saw A Video Review on This Place. It was very informative and positive. They showed about 5 different dishes they ordered. They even stated one of these dishes were only $10. So we drove ALL THE WAY TO NORTHERN CALIFORNIA TO LODI. Ca.
We all ordered the chicken Combo. It’s Really $10.95
Three huge pieces of the best fried chicken ever…
Also comes with chow main AND fried rice…YEP…
Still only $10.95 AND ALL THREE IDEMS PACKED INTO THE TO GO COMBO CONTAINER ADDED FOIL & rubber band to keep it closed… every thing was cooked fresh as we and 20 other people waited.
They speak Perfect English and to listen to them talk to each other in native language in Cantonese . Best in the West. We’ll Never Order Fried Chicken 🍗 from any American Chicken Restaurant Again…Never…
We actually saw so many different dishes being served to the other people waiting we also ordered several different other dishes to go too.
Every order comes in boxes to carry everything out.
ORDER ANYTHING ON THE MENU-I GUARANTEE IT.
SO IF YOU PRE PAY ANY ORDER @ CHOP CHOP AND ARE UNHAPPY FOR ANY REASON - PLEASE 🙏 PLEASE CALL ME AND I WILL DRIVE BACK TO NORTHERN CALIFORNIA TO LODI AND GLADLY EAT YOUR ODER FOR YOU. It’s that good for real.
With these prices. Order several items and post your favorite pictures on Google Maps… or your videos on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or your favorite social media platforms. But for goodness sake. Post something and get the word out…

Overrated, bland Chinese food. We ordered fried rice, chow mein, almond chicken, and BBQ pork noodle soup. Everything was pretty bland, and they forgot to include the broth for the soup—so it was literally just noodles. The almond chicken was the only decent dish. I haven’t tried their fried chicken and honestly don’t know if I will. I called to let them know about the missing broth and the staff was dismissive, which left a bad impression. Maybe something’s gone downhill at Chop Chop after Sam took over 🤷🏻♀️

Hole in the wall Chinese, very small shop with very small parking lot, only a handful of parking spots. Service was fast and friendly. Got Mongolian beef, had better, texture was very tender and soft, also had a sweet flavor which wasn't expecting. It smelled very good. To go packaging was interesting. Also, this resturant is take out only as there's no room for any tables for dining in.

Paid $26 for chow mein and wontons and tipped them as well and when I get home to open the bad they gave me “wontons” that are hard and cold and have nothing inside of them. Waste of money trash food and the chow mein had no flavor.

Food is pretty good for the Lodi area. (Definitely better Chinese food/ quality out there, just not in Lodi so this is just a nice option for Lodi.) Customer service is always outstanding and the atmosphere is a step back in time, where nothing has changed since it opened it seems. We love Chop Chop is will always come back.
