Pretty unimpressed, this was my first time at one of these restaurants. We went in and ordered at 6:30. We waited.. and waited... and waited. I was told that rhey cook the food on the spot, so I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but the restaurant was completely empty besides us. The food took about 48 minutes to get to us. Pretty sure I could have gone to my nearest chili's and ordered and eaten 3 times before this food got to me. It baffled me actually. When it did arive, my jaw almost dropped to the floor of how little food was on my plate. I got a burger and fries. I got about 14 very overcooked fries. When I started eating the burger, all of the ingredients are very very cheap. They have/had hope with the beef, but it was super bland and halfway raw on the inside. Im a rare type of fella and even I hesitated. I didnt enjoy it, it felt like an absolute Bricks hitting my stomach. The worker didn't seem too thrilled to be working. I forgive him. The one thing that I did enjoy about this restaurant was the soda fountain and the music. The responses to these lower star reviews always seem to get the same copy and paste answer. Idk if things are getting fixed.

I placed an order online. When I went to pick up my order, they advised me that they were out of the item that I ordered, so I asked them to refund me the amount of my purchase. The woman at the counter refused to give a refund. She told me that because I placed the order online and paid online, I would have to file a dispute with my bank or card company. She said it was their policy. So now I have to take the time and trouble to dispute the charge with my credit card instead of them giving me a refund back. Does this make sense to anybody?, because it doesn't to me. I think this business just wants to rip off its customers. I used to do alot of business here. I am talking $50 to $80 orders. I will never shop here ever again. I hope it was worth the $12 that they refused to refund me. Frankly, I would rate them less than one star if I could.

Horrible tried to order at 9:20 on 2/5/26 and the girl working said they were not taking orders because they were training a new cook I have never heard or that before !!! I feel bad for all the money they are missing out on !!

Requests aren’t being met! I clearly asked for fresh crispy bacon and instead I was given partially uncooked bacon!! They claim they cook your items once you order and I find that to be a lie. How can you cook fresh bacon within 30 seconds. I had to back for a replacement with no refund or additional items being offered!! No apologies for having me wasting my time and gas to go back and pick up an item that should’ve been prepared the way I requested. The replacement was dry with no taste! I will never return here, I’m better off eating at McDonald’s than to be eating the garbage here!! I will be spreading the word about this place! The customer service is terrible as well. The girl just tossed the bag on the counter top without saying, your order is ready!!! Just terrible service all the way around!! Never again!!!

I am writing to formally express my frustration and disappointment regarding a recent experience my family and I had at the Farmer Boys location in Lodi, California.
On Saturday, December 13, 2025, we placed a drive-through order at approximately 4:55 PM. When we reached the window, the staff member who identified himself as Chris instructed us to pull out of the drive-through and park in one of the front parking spots. We agreed, assuming this was to help keep the drive-through wait time numbers low and trusting that our order would be brought out to us promptly.
Instead, we waited nearly 20 minutes with no food and no communication. Eventually, I went inside the restaurant to ask why our order was taking so long. Quite honestly, it appeared that our order had been forgotten entirely. When I asked Chris where our food was, he pointed toward the counter separating the cooks from the registers, as if our food had been sitting there for an unknown amount of time.
When I asked why no one had notified us that our food was ready or brought it out to us as promised, Chris responded that he had “about $1,000 worth of orders on the screen” that he was trying to complete. This response came across as dismissive and implied that our order was no longer a priority. This was extremely frustrating, especially considering we moved our vehicle specifically to help the restaurant’s drive-through wait time low.
What concerns me just as much as the delay is the larger issue this situation highlights. Had this occurred while my wife was alone with our two toddler sons, she would not have been able to safely exit the vehicle to go inside and ask about our food. This is precisely why families with young children rely on drive-through service. In that scenario, she would have been left waiting indefinitely with no way to advocate for herself or our children, which is unacceptable.
After finally receiving our food and leaving after approximately 22 minutes total, we discovered that one order of fries was missing from one of the combo meals. To make matters worse, when we arrived home to eat, all of the food was cold, clearly having sat out for an extended period of time. This was incredibly disappointing, especially after such a long wait and lack of communication.
At no point was an apology offered, nor was there any attempt to correct the situation or acknowledge the inconvenience. What should have been a simple family meal turned into a frustrating and avoidable experience.
I hope Farmer Boys takes customer service, accountability, and family accessibility seriously and addresses these issues with the Lodi location. I would appreciate a response regarding my refund request and how this matter will be resolved.

This places staff is disgusting , the people that work here are incompetent of dealing with people or making sure orders are full . The food quality has gone down hill also . I’m sad to say but I will never give them my business again
