First timer tips we learned this past week: you go in and seat yourself, order food at the counter and wait to be served. Coffee, water, and soft drinks are self serve but they do bring coffee and water around for refills. Food is good for the price, we enjoyed the 2 pancake 2 eggs 2 sausage/bacon and hashbrown plate, 3 ggs 1/4lb ham steak hash brown and toast plate, orange juice, and two coffees for $36. Cant beat that. All of the staff was very kind and attentive, we were checked on many times and offered plenty of refills. Now what we know what to expect, our next visit will be more pleasant I'm sure. 7/10 recommend.

Honestly, seeing the outside I was hesitant, looks ghetto and ran down, but the I side has a whole different feel. Food was okay, the drink situation felt a little like a commercial kitchen, all in all, wasn't running to the bathroom which is a plus after a diner experience

AMAZING! I came here and got the ribs with a fountain drink, baked potato, corn on the cob , and pea soup. I have to say it was divine! The atmosphere was a lot more "homey" and relaxed. AND they checked in on us regularly. Overall very pleasant. The prices were a less than the prices at Black Bear Diner and in my opinion the food was better. I would rather give money to a one location family business than a more pricey restaurant with more branches. To be perfectly honest I would have given a higher rating but seeing as I can't I will just leave a highly stating review. I hope you all visit this quaint little diner. Highly recommend!

Delicious lunch, we had a BLT and salad, and a Reuben with fries, delicious. A little expensive but isn't everything now. We want to go back to try all the yummy breakfast stuff! You have to order at the counter, so the service is just someone dropping off food, but they were nice. Loved the trains everywhere, and fun when someone asked them to turn one on that circled the place. We'll go back!

First time here yesterday, had a decent sized portion breakfast and a great service experience here. Everyone working the shift on Sunday were great. I wanna say even the owner/manager walked out in the dinning area to ask how everyone and their meal/service was. Now that's hospitality. The food was good, pretty neat to view all of the antique model trains there and one of the going around the track above head while you are seated. They have a nice sized menu to choose from. Even for being a location that has been around for many of years, the location was clean EVEN the restroom. I know we will go back. It seemed like a well frequented location.
Wonderful fun place, service with smiles, superb short order cook, a very tasty diner menu we thoroughly enjoyed. Loved crunchy potatoes mixed with onions/green bell peppers, eggs not over cooked, large toast generously buttered - we try lots of diners & this is one of the best!

As a child train fan, I was really looking forward to it when I found the diner with the great decor on the road tour. So I had to go there with a lot of anticipation.Unfortunately, apart from the furnishings, everything else was rather disappointing. No service, you don't feel welcome at all as a guest and the taste and portion sizes of the food are far below the average experienced on the tour. Prices are slightly higher.Actually 2 stars, the third is for the exceptional furnishings.
