The service is very good. Everything you order is delicious, Mexican style. The flavour it has. I love it especially the tacos with handmade tortillas. Very delicious. The menudo is very delicious. I love this place. I recommend it. It has many different dishes.

Tacos are the best! We also love the chicken and bean burrito. Goes great with their red and green salsa.

Stopped in for a burrito. Staff was polite and courteous. Our burritos arrived were fresh and flavorful. We were enjoying our food until a COCKROACH walked across our table. GROSS.

It's been two years of driving by this place and thinking that I need to try out their menudo. Well this past Sunday I finally did it.For $15 and change I got a bowl of menudo with some pata and a bottle of water. Pretty good deal in the economy. The menudo was good and hit the spot. While I was there they were doing brisk business with people ordering tacos, pozole, and plates of other favorites.I did have to wait for a bit for my soup to come out but hey, good things come to those who wait.

Very bad service. I ordered a carne asada super burrito and was given a regular burrito with a different meat than what I ordered. I told the cashier and she said they would remake it. As I was waiting, the cook (a lady) comes out very mad that I should just enjoy the burrito the way it was given to me. What!? I told the lady to forget the remake if it's a problem to get what I ordered and to just refund my money because she was forcefully trying to make me eat something I didn't order. The cook became even more mad and said she was only going to refund 1/2 my money since I took a bite. What!?!? How was I supposed to know my burrito was made wrong without taking a bite. We just left. Never coming here again. We paid for all this food and didn't eat anything because the cook's attitude was unbelievable. Do NOT come here!

I was excited to try this place based upon the reviews. The place looks a little run down, but run down tacos spots are always a hit right? Anyways it took 40 minutes to get 5 tacos al pastor. I was like dam it's taking this long the tacos are gonna be hella good!! Let me say "false advertising!! The tronco was empty did not have meat so I assume I ate leftover meat from the day before but ok no big deal. It was disappointing the tacos did not have hand made tortillas. I am Mexican I know what store bought tortillas taste like lol. The tacos tasted bland no flavor. I Wasted my time driving there and waiting another 40 min to get bland tacos. The girls are nice but they are extremely slow at getting food out.

Stopped here on a weekday bike ride to grab a lunch I could eat at the park. I ordered a carnitas burrito with everything, and it was delicious! Very generously portioned too - I got two meals out of it. The horchata here was perfectly sweet - I love how no two restaurants make their horchata the same, it's always unique. Next time I'd really like to try something from their palateria y neveria menu - they had every flavor you could imagine!

I really wanted to like this place based on the yelp reviews on here, but I was honestly disappointed. This is the first time that I've really been duped by reviews. We came here around 8 PM, ordered a burrito, 3 pastor tacos and a sope. My partner said the burrito was OK, the pastor tacos were ehh at best and the sope was nothing like a sope I've had before. The meat was dry on the tacos, seemed to be reheated not off el tronco. I read on here tortillas were handmade but it sure didn't taste like it. Now the sope seems to be one they heat on the grill, I'm used to sopes being fried (the masa part of it). This is not how they do them here. Their version of a sope was the sope, meat, lettuce and melted cheese that I removed with a napkin because it was not appetizing. I was expecting the sope to have beans, meat, lettuce, maybe a tomato, crema and queso fresco or cotija. There's no beans on the sopes, the only good thing was that the carne asada was at least flavorful on the sope. The salsas they gave us we're tiny, the size of two finger tips. This is all the salsa we got for the food we ordered. I'd like to come back and try other items and update my review, but for the hype on yelp, it ain't it. Maybe dine in is better? Maybe we came late and they were ready to close up shop? I don't know, we'll have to give it another chance....maybe.

This place is legit. Best hole in the wall Mexican food in East Lodi. Try the carne asada burritos or tripas tacos. Make sure you ask about the aqua frescas or stuff off the menu. I had the tamarindo and it was amazing.
