Food was fair. Baklava was way below average, just heavy. Greek coffee was a C-. Rice pilaf was good as well as the pita and 3 hummus appetizer. Guests with ne thought the Mahi Mahi was very good. I was not impressed with the lamb.

5 stars because everything was great. Rented a private room for 4 hours for my mil's 50th birthday. We were able to put up decorations and have enough space for all attendees. Service was good, fast, friendly and very attentive.
The food was good, I loved my shrimp pasta, I should've gotten one to go. Pricing is good, not too expensive- its very affordable and portions were good.
The inside and decor was very nice. It was very elegant and dark, had nice lights. The room we rented had lights we can adjust based on our needs. Overall, yes id go back.

I have been a customer of papapavlos for 10+ years, most have positive experience. This particular day our server was rushed, less than polite and almost unwelcoming. Never introduced herself, no smile on face and did not offer appetizers or deserts.
This ruined the overall experience of eating out. Hopefully this was just one off experience.

Was excited when the plate was put before me. But, the lobster; I could only chew and swallow, maybe 2 bites. Every other bite, I had to remove from my mouth. The potatoes needed salt; no salt and pepper on the tables. There was a large chunk in the mashed potatoes that wasn’t cooked through; needed a knife to cut it. It remained on the plate as well. Very disappointed.

Visited the restaurant with friends for an early dinner....havent been in their larger sized dining room before, but I have to say - its gorgeous. Wonderfully laid out, multiple large rooms throughout, and the bathrooms are just beautiful. Even the outside areas were perfect. The ambiance was outstanding compared to the old dining room, which was cramped and small. Sadly, the food and service was sub-par. Overly priced, very small serving on the spanakopita casserole dinner, and appetizers were pricey. Even the cheese cake was a disappointment for the price. The server had an attitude....seemed as if we were putting her out, and she was inattentive. Perfectly professional, but she seemed too rushed to stop and hear when we needed something (even though the place was not busy/full). It will be a while before I spend money there again.
Definitely worth it! One of the best New York steaks I have ever had. Pasta was absolutely delicious. Service was absolutely amazing, bar none.

Dropped in for dinner with no reservation. The place was crowded but the the employees were able to work us in very quickly. The service was really good and for as crowded as they were I would have expected less service than I received. The menu is expensive and our meals were prepared perfectly. The only downside to eating there is the acoustics. It's nearly impossible to hear people at your table.

To start the waitress seemed disinterested. When asked for our oders after 30 min she did not ask about appetizers. After waiting anoth 20 min one of the salads came 15 min later the next two salads came. My Greek salad was not a greek salad. A Greek salad has tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, calamari olives, feta cheeae seasoned with a vinergerette with oregano. The salad had no cucumbers, few tomatoes and mostly lettuce. No seasoning and one small peice of feta cheese. Basically a house salad. With a small piece of feta. Lettuce is not a part of Greek salad. The mains were not bad just blan. Nothing to write home about. After dinner we waited 20 min to get someone to come around so we could get our check Never asked about desert. In a nut shell bad service, ok food. This is the first resteraunt review I have ever done. Thats how disapolnted we were.
