A fabulous tasting with Ashley and then a stroll around the absolutely gorgeous and clean grounds! Not to mention the wines themselves were soooo good!

Visited MDW after having breakfast at the Cafe--reserved and received a great tasting experience with Curtis who was so knowledgeable and very friendly that we joined (another) club. Thanks for pouring for us. Afterwards, we enjoyed a bottle on the patio under the big tree.

Excellent breakfast at this beautiful Lodi winery. The family has been growing grapes for many decades and farming this land since the 1860s like my family. They know their food! I went with the chicken fried chicken with oountry gravy. Perfectly cooked with a huge and tasty biscuit, eggs and hash browns. Definitely not your average breakfast platter.

A great breakfast and brunch place. Quiet and quaint, pleasant and delicious. Great service and atmosphere. We had the Farm Breakfast, Don's Breakfast and Steak and Eggs, and enjoyed them. Coffee is good too, and the cream that comes with it is very fresh.

Superb breakfasts! Great service and never disappointed with the food. Seating is limited and first come first served, but definitely worth any wait.

Very disappointed with our visit today. My husband and daughter went to order food To-Go. The hostess told them they do not do To-Go orders. When my husband spoke with the manager the manager seemed confused as to why he was told that and said he didn't know if they did To-go orders or not. We understand it was busy but to deny orders and not know your buisness policy's as a manager is ridiculous. Do better. You even have Take out as an option for this review. Will wait for Tin Roof to be open and skip this place from now on.

Service is a little to be desired, you are definitely neglected once you are at a table. Came here on a Sunday, so was expecting a wait, 30 minutes to get to a table, another 10 waiting for a server. When they came to the table, server states only able to take a drink order and another server will come for the food order. Our server went to another table that was seated well after us to take their complete order before coming to our table. By all means come here for the wine and the atmosphere, not the food or service.

At the suggestion of a local, we all met on a Monday morning at the M-D Winery restaurant at opening time. It seemed to quickly fill up with other patrons, which was a good sign. The waitress was friendly and helpful, and the meals came out without noticeable delay. Our party had the breakfast burrito, the ultimate breakfast, and the light breakfast with an additional side of fruit. The light breakfast was just enough for a non-breakfast person like your reviewer. The other folks in our party ended up taking home part of their sizeable meals, since the portions were so generous. Breakfast for three came to a little over $50, before tax and tips, which I didn't consider too out of line for the area. Overall, a good breakfast in nice surroundings, and I'll look forward to visiting again next time we're in town.

So, Michael David has outstanding wines, but our server was FABULOUS! Thank you Kathe Barnett for making our visit(s) so superior and special. You were the highlight of our tastings. Cheers to you Champagne Queen!

My sister treated me to Michael David winery while I was out visiting her. The grounds are nice and the tasting room is so pretty and fun! I wish I could recall the gal doing our tasting because she was super fun and sweet! She saved the best for last (of course) and had me try an amazing red reserve…yep, bringing a bottle home to Iowa! Definite stop if you are in Lodi wine tasting. The cafe looked yummy as well but we didn’t try it.

So fun and delicious, our server Alisha was the best, super attentive to all of our needs. It was a busy breakfast morning and she took care of every table ✨ for the food, we had to try the soups (split pea and chicken tortilla), my favorite was the chicken tortilla, but split pea was good too :) depending on the mood. Ordered the huevos rancheros, and steak eggs. The steak was cooked perfectly, very delicious juicy and tender cut. We also got a Bloody Mary, also prepared exquisitely. So if you’re in town looking for a new place to try out, you can’t go wrong with the goodies here ✨
