Amazing service. Amazing food. Beautiful restaurant inside too.
Everything was delicious! I would have given 5 stars for food but my steak sandwich I ordered medium and came well done. It was a little tough but still ok. Dining companions loved their meals. Risotto was really good! Service is top notch!!

The new space for this restaurant is absolutely beautiful. High ceilings and an open seating concept/ nice decor inside and out. We sat in the patio outside. There was plenty of heaters and natural light through the shudder ceiling; love the ambiance of the restaurant.
The staff is very friendly and attentive. You definitely will not feel ignored.
If you live in the area or are just passing through, stop by and support local business. You will not leave hungry or disappointed.

Have had dinner a couple of times, including last year after my dad's funeral. I live out of state and was coming into town for the holidays. We started trying to make a reservation for 9 since mid-October wanting to make certain we could get in since it's the Christmas season. Was told they couldn't take our reservation yet and to call back the evening of Nov 1st. My mom forgot to call back on Nov 1st so I picked up the ball and attempted to call the following day (Nov 2nd). No matter what selection I dialed from their phone system, I couldn't leave a message anywhere for a call back. I went onto the Facebook page to see if maybe there was a problem with their phone system or a way to message them....found out that they CLOSED Nov 1st! NO ONE EVER MENTIONED THAT TO US IN MID OCTOBER! Now I had to try and figure out when they would reopen (the FB post just said they were moving)...took several days before a good Samaritan told me they would re-open on Nov 8th (I commented on Pietro's post and sent a private message - no one could be bothered to respond until Nov 6th). The message I received was this "My recommendation will be to give us a call on Saturday start at 11am. We will be at our new location." So at 11 AM PST on Nov 8th I called and I was then told we can't take reservations yet for December to please call back on the 12th. I explained to the girl how many times I had been pushed off and that i was concerned about getting a reservation with the Christmas holidays coming up....she said she would take my name and number and have the person who could do that call me back that day - NEVER GOT A CALL! I also tried SEVERAL times to make a reservation on their website, but the 3rd party software would not allow me to make a reservation in December. I called on Monday the 10th and was given another excuse of reservations are not open yet, give me your name and number, someone will call you back...blah blah blah. Surprisingly on Wed, Nov 12th someone called and took my reservation and said I had to give them my credit card to secure the reservation- fine! Not a problem. We were just happy we finally had the reservation confirmed! Sadly, this was not the end of the story. Last night I was informed that one member of our party wanted to bring her 4 children (their father recently passed away and the holidays are really tough for them - so she wanted to have them join us to feel festive). No problem right? NOPE! I called the Pietro's yesterday afternoon to ask if they could increase our reservation by 4 to accommodate the situation. Here we go again....I can't do that you have to talk to the banquet manager now and it will require you designate a set menu for dinner. SERIOUSLY?! I explained a set menu would not work as my mom is celiac and we're only talking 4 children. There was no understanding....here's the voicemail, leave a message for the banquet manager to call you. With 3 weeks to go before our reservation, I left a message. No response. I waited until 2 PM MST the following day for a callback. Nothing! I called the restaurant again, explained the situation and my deep frustrations with this whole thing and was told the banquet manager would either call me back today or the following day!? No one else could help me and the owners "Don't take phone calls." About 30 min later I actually did get a callback from Nicole the Banquet Manager and was essentially told she'd love to work with me but it's the holidays and they just don't have the room for our party to change from 9 to 13. I made it abundantly clear - AGAIN - that I have been trying to get this reservation since mid-October (because I knew it was Christmas time) and have been given one excuse after another in putting us off. She explained how they moved locations, reservation books were not open and that "you should have made reservations in advance because it's Christmas time and they already had 3 other large parties booked for that night TWO MONTHS AGO."
Went to the New Pietro's in Lodi and was very disappointed, the food was not good, the service was horrendous and really slow and to top it off I valet my car and the next day when I saw the car in the daylight it was full of mud, I'm taking tires, side panels, back, to the point that I had to go directly to the car wash.
I would drive from Elk Grove to Lodi just to have dinner there (the old place) and this is the first time we went in a group of 10 and to say I was disappointed is an understatement, I don't know what happen but their service is the worst.

Love the new location, big and beautiful 🤩 The espresso martini machine is delicious 😋
1. Get a reservation!! We were lucky enough to walk-in around 4:30 and got an open spot at the bar/chef’s table
2. We split the bruschetta; we both thought the Mona Lisa tasted like juice (dangerously yummy); I had the bucatini—so many clams!; and I finished with a birthday-sized tiramisu. Everything was delicious. I wish they sold the butter they serve with the bread!
3. The new location is gorgeous with its greenhouse motifs. High ceilings and whatnot. Clean bathroom + really sweet service
Would go back and would recommend

We have been going to Pietro’s for a while now and where looking forward to this new location. We were so excited to have dinner and it turned out to be the worst experience. We ordered our drinks and the glass cups smell like egg the bread that is normally super soft was so hard and the marinara sauce was cold. We decided we just wanted to leave and the male manager wasn’t apologetic at all he actually made things worse. While we were walking out I wanted to pay for the appetizer we had ate Malori Wolfe the assistant general manager apologized and said she would take care of that appetizer for us. We really appreciate the fact that she cares for her customers. She invited us back and again apologized. Thank you Melori.

Updated post: we tried Pietros again at their new location. They were fabulous. What an improvement from our previous visit. The new place is wonderful. Everyone around us seemed to be enjoying themselves!
Only suggestion: let your customers know what the specials are. We shouldn’t have to ask if they are any specials.

New location is fabulous, although parking is limited. Expanded staff has been well trained to continue the legacy of this incredible restaurant. Dishes are generous in portion and exploding with flavor. The classic dishes remain while the deserts have been greatly enhanced and are a must to complete a meal.
Management (Matt) and owner (Pete) were both very welcoming demonstrating a strong desire to grow the legacy of this outstanding restaurant.

We absolutely loved our experience at Pietro’s! The food was incredible, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Every dish we tried was delicious. The service was just as amazing, our waitress was so kind, and the whole staff was attentive and welcoming. You can really tell they care about their guests. We can’t wait to come back!

I've been a huge fan of Pietros for over 20 years. I was looking forward to experiencing the new location. The wait time was less than 5 min with reservations. The restaurant is amazing. Pietros never had a big bar area. The new bar is unbelievable the lighting..seating the beautiful display through and through. As you walk through the restaurant it is just beautiful love the open kitchen reminds me off the original location when they first renovated it. The patio very nice. I love the old location, there it felt like you were in the Murdaca patio. As you can tell I was just in awe of the new location. Time to order, for starters we had fried calamari,. They are strips of calamari not rings which i prefer the strips. My granddaughter ordered the Pork Milanese, me Clam Bucatini, my mom one of the specials 14 Oz New York strip with 3 large shrimp prawns over polenta. First off the Pork Milanese is pounded out..it supposed to be tenderized and lightly breaded. It was presented beautifully but the pork was ran over by a steam roller. This piece of pork was so flat and dried out. You could have flug it across the the street. My Clam Bucatini.... well, I normally love bucatini noodles. Bucatini looks like a spaghetti noodle with a hole in the center. It is meant to capture the sauce. The clam sauce is a white wine garlic in olive oil . My sauce was none existence, the Bucatini must've sucked up all the sauce and the heat lamp dried up the Bucatini noodle. My mom's steak and prawns is the only reason I'll give Pietros another try.

Love this restaurant, it’s my favorite place to dine. The atmosphere is great, you can watch the cooking while you’re sitting at your table. I love their anti-pasta salad And my husband loves their cioppino.
