I have been going to Rick's for almost 2 decades. It is some of the best pizza ever. This is not a place I go to feed the whole family because $99 for 3 mediums is really rough, but they use fresh ingredients so you get what you pay for. This is a favorite date night place for us.

they would not allowed me and my friend in the store after stating that we are over the age of 18 and even offered to show my id , they were rude and insisted we did not enter the premises with no probable cause other then the fact they thought we were students which is rude and unfair because we were looking to enjoy food but were denied by a rude man

If I could give a zero I would. My friend and I got ice cream the tables were really nasty so we went to the outer seating at Rick’s a female worker told us we were fine then a young male worker came out and told us we had to leave if we are not buying anything. Thank you for being so nasty. I will never purchase pizza from here again. And without customers employees do not get paid. I have lived in Lodi my whole life . This used to be a good family town . Wonderful to raise your family in but this situation goes to show you the quality of life is in the dumps.

Rick's is the best pizza I have had in Lodi, California. I always look forward to it when my partner's parental units want to take us here. Recently we came to pickup from his wine club and stopped here for an early dinner just the two of us. Very romantic ambiance here, don't be fooled by the nondescript strip mall. It is on the expensive side, but I think it's worth it for how delicious it is. And how filling. Bring a friend or the family or whoever. They do have coupons floating about but as I don't even go here I don't know how to get any. Big fan of the cheese and/or veggie combo pies since I stopped eating meat. They have a serious combo for people who eat both. Chonky pizzas with piled toppings, but not so bad that everything falls off. Quality cheese blend and crust that isn't too much crust. They do have a thin crust available as well. House salad with the bean medley, when both pizza sauce and ranch is applied, is so tasty. I've never had that anywhere else. Don't skip their house made ranch, now. They have several hot sandwiches to choose from as well, and I saw one veggie sandwich offered. There is also a fancier veggie pizza with artichokes and garlic. Other options include, wangs, garlic bread, soups, salads with meat in them, Gluten Free pizza crust, and cauliflower pizza crust. I did not see the word vegan anywhere, so you would have to ask about that to see what you can eat if you're vegan. Waitresses are nice. Ambiance is nostalgic. Rick's reminds me of the defunct Auburn Round Table we used to have birthday parties at in the 90's. It's cute how similar our hometowns are when I think about it. Don't forget your quarters for the arcade, sticker, and toy machines. 98% Angel. Vegan Corner: salad, no vegan cheese that I am aware of Bathroom Report: down some hallways, adventure is out there, no problems to report Parking: lot in a strip mall Booths: fat person approved

If you are from the area then you already know that this family makes the best pizzas in the area. Lots of parking, friendly service, the best crust, and that veggie sandwich is definitely worth coming back for.
Service! Zero stars! We called on our way back from LA and asked if we paid and ordered a pizza at 8:30 if we could pick it up at 10:05. She said absolutely not. It's not an inconvenience to have great customer service to long time returning customers to ask that. It's not like we're asking them to stay open for us. It's not like they won't be there cleaning and closing the restaurant for at least another hour. The transaction would have already been paid for and pizza made well before closing. She proceeded to ask if we wanted to speak to a manager, then quickly ended the call when we sounded like we wanted to speak to them. Knowing that I'm pretty sure her boss wouldn't be too pleased with her lack of customer service and representation of their establishment. It's the little people and returning HAPPY customers that make them stay relevant.

I have never been at this establishment before and didn't know that they charged a $2.40 surcharge on credit card. The lady was so rude when it didn't go through. I was wanting to put a certain amount on my card and pay cash for the rest. So I used my other credit card that went through but the lady at this place was still rude. This happened at 1:44 p.m. on 02/01/2024 at Ricks Pizza in Lodi at Lake wood Mall. Like I said I have never been there before and for the first time as a customer the service was terrible and oh yeah when I first called and asked about delivery they said they don't deliver. Yet when I parked they had We Deliver on their vehicles. What's up with that!

Ordered pizza at 4:30PM. ETA was 1 hour. Called and spoke to mgr Steven at 6pm. Said it would arrive shortly. Called again at 6:30, still no pizza. Steven said ETA was 25 min and offered pizza for free. Didn't want pizza for free. Just wanted good communication and the pizza we ordered. We are a 20+ year customer and we are done.
