Chocolate hazelnut twist was incredible! That and a cappuccino and you're all set! 2 egg breakfast was amazing, the bacon was perfect and it's perfect to split with someone if your having pastries as well. Nice to see the new expansion as they were packed as always. Staff is great and it's always a good vibe 👍

This place is amazing! The best pastries, breakfast sandwiches, bread, pies and cakes you will get anywhere! I dare you to find a better place to get all of these things! Their coffee is so good too! I come to this place every time I need a pick me up, it works every time! Everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. If I were to recommend anything, there are a couple things you have to try!🤤 The sugar bun, the everything croissant, and the coffee cake are some of my favorites! The breakfast sandwich is the best breakfast sandwich you will ever have! And don't forget to grab a baguette on the way out the door! I promise after your first bite you will never want it from anywhere else! Keep up the good work Ruby's, I'll be back soon!

Went to Ruby's earlier today and felt like I wanted the world to stop and appreciate the moment with me and pay homage to the baker(s) who prepared all that deliciousness!
As a group, we ordered a piece of crumb cake, a lemon custard pastry, a hazelnut pastry, a chocolate filled croissant, a sweet bun, a macaroon cookie, one chocolate chip and one peanut butter, along with rosemary ham and cheese on sourdough and a mushroom/spinach and cheese on sourdough, avocado toast, a turkey sandwich, mochas, and a cup of coffee!
You don't need to drive all the way to SF for the best sourdough bread anymore, just downtown Lodi.
The first bite of that spinach/mushroom and cheese bread made me close my eyes and chew slowly, as to savor the experience. I should have inquired about the spread because it was a creamy blend of mild but highly complimentary flavors, similar to that of a perfect pizza sauce, only better! With each item I tasted, the reaction was the same. The dark chocolate mocha looked and tasted divine. The turkey sandwich could have easily fed two people and those who ordered avocado toast devoured it.
I highly recommend everything I mentioned above with my personal favorites being the sourdough cheese breads, sweet bun, lemon custard and hazelnut pastries.
Friendly, cheerful owner and staff, great service, clean facility, and nearby parking.

Very few tables and seats to eat there so most people take out. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I found my Almond croissant to be a bit over baked and the cinnamon bun to be a little over as well and too much sugar for my personal tastes. Overall though a nice bakery

Ruby's Bakery in Lodi, CA, is an absolute gem! Their baked goods are incredible, everything I’ve tried has been amazing. However, the standouts for me are the sugar bun, ham and cheese croissant, and the twice-baked almond croissant. Each one is perfection, with flaky, buttery layers and just the right amount of sweetness or savory goodness.
If you’re passing through Lodi, do yourself a favor and stop here. You won’t regret it! This place is a must-visit for any bakery lover.

Those sugar buns with the orange zest.. are you kidding me? So fresh, tasty and light. Paired with a cappuccino, and sat by the kitchen window to watch them make more sugar buns for future appetites. Keep up the good work!!

Wonderful little bakery in downtown Lodi!! Gained 10lbs just looking at all of the awesome pastries and dishes! Everyone working there was happy and smiling, and very friendly to customers. Had too many yummy things to even begin to list. The coffee was great, which was a true bonus. We will come back again and again when we are in the area!!

Lodi's best bakery/cafe... hands down! Our favorites are the ricotta egg toast with bacon, any of the quiches, breads and plain croissants. Coffee drink selection is good too.

So Good. The avocado toast is always on repeat with a hot latte. I haven’t had anything disappointing there. The sugar buns are perfect. I love to try new things while I’m there. The house made bread is delicious.

I felt COMPELLED to write a review for Rubys but it’s be a public INJUSTICE not to tell people how.. good.. this place is.. let’s start with the made in house bread! The bread is of the highest artisan craft and then they go and slap in house house made sauce on it, the finest meats and cheese! Don’t they me started on the coffee! They a REAL BARISTAS brewing real coffee on real espresso machines and the end result is pure and utter indulgence perfection
