This is my go-to spot for menudo in Lodi. To be honest I haven't tried any others. But then this was good enough to not warrant venturing into another establishment just yet. The bathroom is upstairs so just be aware.

Horrible customer service. Order is not ready by promised time. The only waitress they have seems to only be friendly with male patrons. Unless it's only myself she has a issue with.

Well the rice and beans are definitely not store bought. In fact the rice is probably one of the better ones I've had at a Mexican restaurant. The beans are always super fresh and creamy almost. The chips are definitely store bought but the salsa isn't and it's always fresh. The sodas are overpriced and it gets hot as hell in there with the cooking and tiny wall a/c but the food is good. I always get the tacos dorados and enchiladas. My husband always orders the chile rellenos and tacos dorados. Every time I've been there the food is piping hot and freshly made. They do seem to have a lot of customers who are either friends or family it seems like. The bill usually doesn't match their prices either. It kinda seems like they tack on a few dollars more and honestly there's a bit of a language barrier but like I said the food is good. This is probably the only place I finish my food at.

The service is good but the food not so much, my family and I got different dishes and none of them were good, the worst was the molcajete it had a very bad smell never coming back!!!
