Amazing! From the receptionist to the food! we got a table as soon as we walked in… no wait! Drinks and food were served immediately! My husband and I have been looking for a good sushi place in Lodi, we’ve been to them all but Komachi is a showstopper!!! THIS IS OUR NEW FAV PLACE. Would recommend 10/10 definitely coming back. Thank you for this amazing experience… we tried the Golden shrimp roll, UOP roll, and Yellow Submarine roll! (THEY WERE ALL TO DIEEEE FOR.)

Food was good. Service was horrible.We waited 46 mins for our table even though we had a reservation. Once the food was dropped off, we never saw our server again until about 15 mins after everyone was done eating. All of our drinks were dry by the middle of our meal.Was so excited to try this place after all the great reviews. What a disappointment.

I've been here several times, and the food at this Japanese restaurant is pretty solid for the area.However, I cannot recommend the ramen. The chashu was a bit dry, and they gave me an ice cold soft boiled egg to put in the soup. When I complained about the egg they said that's how it is "because it's a side." I don't know a single person anywhere who would want a cold egg in their hot soup, and no one is going to convince me that's normal, though they tried. At least I was able to send the egg back.The reason I give this place 3 stars instead of 4 is because it is a bit overpriced. I guess there's not many other options in the area and people will pay whatever to get middle-of-the-road Japanese food.

We placed a phone order since their website wasn't working at 3:00. We were told it would be an hour, at 5:00 my husband just drove there to find out why our order wasn't ready. He had to wait another 15 minutes. When I unpacked the food, I discovered part of my order wasn't even there. After calling to complain I was told to return to the restaurant and pick up my missing food.

We were a party of 15, with a reservation for lunch. We arrived around 11:30 and were seated right away. The server was friendly and efficient. Drinks were promptly served and orders taken. About half of us ordered some type of sushi roll and the rest ordered bento boxes or teriyaki /
