Our special day at The Hidden Tea Room was delightful and delicious. I wanted a fun birthday celebration for my mom and my aunt. My aunt also invited a close friend. The decor is very inviting and draws you in ti experience a true afternoon tea. They offer a very nice variety of teas to start. A full pot for each guest. Nice touch! The scones are freshly made and served piping hot. A little more jam and cream would have been nice. The sandwiches were freshly made are delicious. We ordered the Teacup Salad and the Dill Chicken Salad Scoop as an added feature, as this was our lunch. It was wonderful, with the exception of the missing chicken salad. I opted not to mention it, at the time. No one knew what our menu was except myself. So, not so important. The fall touches to the menu was a pleasant treat. Dessert was tasty and since we were celebrating a birthday, a candle and a round of Happy Birthday was added. I would highly recommend The Hidden Tea Room and when I return to Lodi I plan to stop in again. Thank you Hidden Tea Room for making our day Very Special!!!

What a delightful tea room! An excellent selection of teas, good food at affordable prices (some Victorian-style tea rooms charge like they're serving on solid gold plates!), a variety of relevant merchandise to browse through, comfortable seating, and pleasing decor. My cousin and I had a great little lunch and a relaxing visit over tea. Civilization at its best!

What an experience! The place adorable. Food presented beautifully and delicious. The scones and spreads were home made, each one delicious. And the tea. Omg, each are given a full pot of their choice. So smooth. The service was A1. Warm but professional. Highly recommended. I’ll be back!

I love this place!!!! Went here with my husband earlier this month and he didn't think he would get full with the assortments of food, we got the 3 tier assortment, sandwiches, fruit, quiche, desert all come on the three tier platter, plus our own teas, guess what, he got full 😂, the ladies that run this cute tea Boutique are absolutely wonderful, they are attentive, kind, we only been here once and can't wait to go back, reservations is highly recommended

The food and ambience were great. Our hostess was incredibly nice, attentive and kind. She made our little 8 yo birthday celebrant feel like a princess. Everyone in our group (two of them from Arizona, two from Walnut Creek and one from Elk Grove) had a delightful time. Our hostess also had us take our time eating and talking so we could all catch up after a couple of years not seeing one another. A wonderful and fun time was had by all. For sure, we'll be back—it's my second time coming to this very nice and quaint place.

This place is truly a hidden gem. It has a quaint feel with some costume pieces for guest to wear if they want to get in the mood for a tea party. The food is surprisingly filling for afternoon tea. The sandwiches are good as well as the pastries. The bake their scones in house and the honey butter that goes with it is delicious. They don't have a much tea options to pick from, and the quality of tea is ok. The staff and service are fantastic. The staff are attentive and responsive. I think at their current price point of $38 for the Royal, it's a good value when comparing to other afternoon style tea houses.

Owner was very friendly. Tea was delicious! Food was good. Excellent value for high tea. Cute gift shop, with lots of tea novelties. Great place to take girls to on their birthday! Would love to see them move to a more quaint location!

I took my daughter here for her 4th birthday. The service was great and my daughter enjoyed herself. When my daughter got a little restless our server (I forgot her name. So sorry!) sat down with her and read a book to her which let the adults enjoy a few minutes of time to talk and eat. I will definitely be coming back.

The finger foods was delicious and of course the tea. Some of my guests had dietary restrictions which I did not remember at the time I booked it. They are a group I'm still getting to know. I did send them the opentable link and hoped they would review the menu and accept the invitation. Because it wasn't noted on my reservation, the staff didn't prepare any gluten-free items for them. I thought this was a little inconvenient and awkward but they were able to order other items from the menu.

We took my daughter to celebrate her 5th birthday and the staff made us feel welcome and special. We had one small dietary request and they were able to easily accommodate it. The service and attention to detail was perfect, we will be coming back soon!

I love this place so much. I’ve been going here since it opened. Great place for afternoon tea. Special events, birthdays, great for children’s tea parties. Great loose tea tea, several flavors. Has both outdoor and indoor seating. I recommending trying to get in on the weekends by doing a reservations weeks in advanced.

I was excited to try this place out and well I guess it was more for the experience than anything. The Tea itself was delicious but the food that accompanied not so much. They don’t have a variety at all and yes I know it’s about the tea but I personally would not do it again
