This is a good little place if you want a quick beer or to get dinner with the family. We were a party of 6 and ordered a large order of chicken wings to start. These were extra large, very meaty and juicy. Half had BBQ sauce, the other half a sweet/spicy Thai sauce. I preferred the BBQ, but both were good. I also got a side salad. Not sure what kind of lettuce, but it looked like a small red stemmed spinach. Whatever it was, it was excellent with croutons, cucumber, red onion, cheese, and cherry tomatoes. The six year old with us ordered the kids mac & cheese and she loved it. The rest of us ordered different styles of hamburgers. I ordered a bacon burger which was good. They have several different kinds of fries. I got regular, but 2 ordered garlic fries and you could smell the fresh garlic as soon as the plates were brought out. Both were very tasty. I only had two minor complaints. First, all of our food came out at once...the appetizer, the salads and the entrées. The table was covered with dishes. I prefer when they're spaced out a bit and you don't feel so rushed. Also, your entrée won't get cold while you're eating the appetizer and salad. Second, the bottom bun on my burger was very soggy. It was kinda messy to eat. These were minor issues and I would definitely return to Porters Pub without hesitation. If I wasn't hungry for a burger or other entree, I could very easily go for just the chicken wings and that fabulous salad.

Shay was outstanding as far as explaining the different types of beers they have! I'm impressed with the fish and chips that was on their food menu as well! Definitely a place to go get your grub and brew on!

The staff was very kind and responsive. We had a large party and they were able to seat us outside. They also set up some extra heaters since it was chilly. The food tasted amazing. I got fiesta nachos with the carnitas and it was so yummy. I was sad it wasn't a giant plate of nachos like I had thought though. Everyone else seemed to really enjoy their food. My son who almost never eats fries got garlic fries and ate all of them! A very pleasant time.

If only it wasn't so cold inside. Hello to Managers. Warm the place up and you may get more revenue. People can't eat in a cold environment. We can't think about dessert when we are freezing or an extra drink. You would be surprised at how much more money a customer will spend when they are comfortable

We didn’t think it was very good at all. The pulled pork sandwich tasted old. The fish tacos were drenched in a sauce. The cheese sauce that went with the pretzels was old and had a film on it with stuck together old lumps. It was just yuck!

Forgot bacon on turkey bacon sanwich. When brougt up after sanwich was already eaten offered piece of bacon??? Why not pay for soda!!! I mean who wants a piece of bacon after meal eaten. French fries soooo greasy!! But waitress was super nice but didnt provide good solution to sandwich without bacon! I mean come on just offer free soda!! Do not recommend this place!!

Friendly and attentive service are hallmarks of this restaurant.I had the Porter Club which felt like it had rotisserie style turkey. It was filling but I wish it would have had more flavor. The sidewinder fries are a MUST! They have a rewarding crunch and pair well with sandwiches and burgers.Their turkey melt was described by a friend as "solid" and said the bacon was the anchor of the sandwich. Friend said they wouldn't have it again if it didn't come with bacon.I will definitely come back and try their burgers.

After a 40 minute wait my husband's order was still not ready when everyone else's was brought to table . 3 waitress's and bar staff, with only 5 tables of patrons seated so being short staffed was not an issue. My grilled turkey sandwich tasted like old deli meat heated up on the grill with cold zero seasoned fries. My husband finally received his fish and chips with zero chips. The waitress literally put down a basket with 2 deep fried cod pieces and started to walk away . We had to ask the waitress where his fries were .. are you ready for this ...She was waiting on fries which she returned with a few minutes later that were cold. The malt vinegar bottle was so dirty you could see a visible film from previous fingers touching it . Waitress wouldn't return to table to bring bill because she was busy behind bar washing glasses so I had to go up to bartender myself to ask to pay bill . With so many choices in downtown to Lodi to dine why would anyone eat here ? It was disgusting. If you love paying $16 for a foul smelling old turkey Sandwich then this is your place .

I'm looking for a big juicy patty that you can get medium rare. He recommended Porters Pub. So I had to try it. The verdict? Well I gave them five stars didn't I? They got my order exactly as I wanted, so it was a real treat. The fries are also good and fresh but I'd say skip the cajun seasoning if you don't want them over salted. Call if your order if getting it to go so you don't have to wait.

The food here is good!!! Stopped by here the other night as a last resort because we had a bad experience down the street. I do have to say the service was a little slow. The waitresses were wonderful but it took a really long time to get our food. I know we were one of the last ones to come in so I just kinda accepted it, but at least it was worth the wait! Omg so yummy. We both ordered the cheesesteak sandwich with sauce and sweet potatoe fries and some chicken wings and we were NOT disappointed! Delicious and we will definitely be back...

Worst place ever!!!!! They take forever to sit you and waitresses look lost have no desire and no sense of urgency to help customers! WORST SERVICE EVER. They need to hire real people that know what they are doing I should not have to ask for a menu then tell the waitress when I'm ready to order. Then ask for napkins and refill etc. they don't come check on your after food is served. for a small pub restaurant the service is s*** and food took forever to get to us we order one meal to share we were there a hour. No personality no thank you for coming straight mean ladies!!
