Have stopped in twice to try this place out but both times waited for about five minutes without ever been served. This last attempt there was another couple people in front of me who also never got helped. Just wanted to try one of the pastries and be in and out pretty quickly, but that definitely did not happen. I will try again and hopefully, I can update with a great review.

So sad they’re no longer offering the caprese toast (the only reason we would go every weekend!). I asked for a ricotta toast in its place and was given ricotta french toast. Then they took FOREVER (20+mins) to just get me an avacado toast to the point where I had to walk up and tell them my husband was already done and I just wanted my refund. His avocado toast was also not great. The waitress seemed a bit annoyed even tho it was a mistake on both of our ends. Not worth going back, sadly.

As I’ve always enjoyed hanging out at the previously named Towne Corner Cafe, I was excited to see how they’ve changed it. While the atmosphere is still as nice as before unfortunately, a few food items have changed. The once popular and enjoyed by many avocado toast has been replaced with some sort of weird bitter tasting green puree that looks like it’s been squeezed from a tube. I was very disappointed to not have freshly sliced avocados as well as the protein choices to add to the toast are no longer available. The time changes of when they cut off certain menu items promptly are also a big disappointment! Not sure if I’ll be returning even though it’s within walking distance 😔

I had high hopes for the new cafe. Unfortunately we were rather disappointed with the food choices we got. I would recommend going for the rotisserie chicken, pastries, and coffee. The champagne we got was extremely flat and the sturgeon open face sandwich was not good. Also very pricey.

Maison Lodi has a charming atmosphere, and their pastries are absolutely delicious—flaky, buttery, and clearly made with care. However, the savory options left a lot to be desired. The pastrami panini was disappointing—greasy, bland, and completely lacking mustard, which made it feel one-dimensional. The mushroom banh mi was another miss; the mushrooms were too thick, with no seasoning or flavor reminiscent of a traditional Vietnamese banh mi. Overall, I’d come back for the pastries, but the sandwiches need serious improvement.

Visited for the first time today. The staff was very friendly and personable. This place has a very cute atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating was well air-conditioned which was good on a hot summer day like today. It would be a great place to bring a book or laptop and get some work done. It was calm and relatively quiet. The coffee was good but I would not recommend the food. The pastries didn't look great, the breakfast burrito was not fresh and the breakfast sandwich was mediocre/dry. Despite this, the salads looked good (I didn't try one though). I'd recommend going here for a coffee with friends or to work from, but maybe pass on the food.

Parking: Lots of people took up multiple parking spaces which meant I had to park a little farther away to get a spot. Lot was relatively full considering it was 10:30am on a weekday. Free parking lot.

Always enjoying coming here for a nice breakfast or lunch. Today I had a lovely cobb-type salad. Everything was fresh and the dressing was delicious. I’ve never had a lavender latte and decided to try one. Light hint of lavender and not too sweet— thumbs up!

Food is good but the vibe and scenery is what you go here for. If you're into photography, definitely a must see. It's right next to Wine & Roses (or should I say inside? Lol) so there's alot to experience while you sip coffee and eat your pastry.

Good menu selection, fair prices, quick & competent service, outdoor seating options in nice location. The gardener / landscape staff at Wine & Roses is to be commended. Lovely grounds, especially the large flower garden area.

The staff makes this place. Without them, it'd be your average run of the mill cafe.
