Food is good but the vibe and scenery is what you go here for. If you're into photography, definitely a must see. It's right next to Wine & Roses (or should I say inside? Lol) so there's alot to experience while you sip coffee and eat your pastry.

WOW! This is my new favorite cafe! The staff was incredibly friendly and the quality of the coffee really impressed me. It's very clear that these baristas are well trained and educated to serve quality drinks. The food was a bit bland which was disappointing, but the coffee and the service made up for it. I ordered a small hot latte and I'm definitely coming back!

We really like the atmosphere and vibe of the cafe. It's one on Lodi's finest example. Unfortunately the service has been horrendous for such a long time and doesn't seem to be getting any better. There's no reason for it to take so long to make a cup of coffee. Why is there no Apple Pay? Why can't you break a $50 dollar bill? Management needs to get better!!

Excellent little cafe and coffee shop. Mocha was excellent. Only had the coffee and some cookies so I can't speak to the food. Great place. Friendly staff, fast

Gosh, we have tried to avoid doing a review here, but today was the day that "broke the camel's back," as they would say haha. We have been here a total of five (5) times. Let's make something clear: this place in no way reflects the restaurant at Wine and Roses; Townhouse Restaurant is fantastic! Straight to the point: - The food is extremely slow to come out; yes, all of their food items are from another company in plastic-wrapped portions; nothing is made here, don't be fooled, though they don't advertise it being made here, haha. - The coffee here is ... I don't know what to say. We tried their specialty drinks, and they are never consistent. The taste is off, too much expresso, the beans are burnt(overdone, I don't know what it's called, not a coffee researcher), too much syrup. see where this is going? The baristas here just don't take care in making the drinks. Look behind the counter? They looked sad, irritated, and seemed very annoyed. Not even a smile on their face. I get it; not everyone has a great day every day, but there is no reason for anyone to be rude. Yes, this is a service industry; fake it, put a smile on, present your best, and do your best. Okay, wait, I think their iced black tea was done okay. So not all drinks but most. What broke the camel's back today? I went up to the barista and asked her a simple question about the location of the power plugs. Oh My Gosh... she replied so sadly, like a ghost, annoyed. I replied, "Thank you, apologies, I could see it in the corner.", the barista turned her head and said nothing. Yeah, the other customer looked at us and shrugged. Oh well, right? Here is the thing: THERE IS NO REASON TO BE RUDE or MEAN TO ANYONE! We all have issues, and problems, and things don't go right, but remember, someone else may be having a worse day than you. Please be nice to everyone, and kind; it's the only thing that cost us/you nothing! You may even make someone's day. I know many times I have to fake it, but when someone is nice, kind, and appreciative, it makes our day! They made us feel bad and sad for even coming here. I hope the management here takes hold and fixes their cafe to match the restaurant. Gosh, the restaurant is so incredible. I hope this helps! Now I feel sad... :( Well, at least the wine-country ambiance is amazing, haha! :) **edited: They do make some items in their kitchen, the avocado toast stuff! That's a plus i suppose! *** I will update this review once I revisit and get a better experience! It would only be fair to give them another chance!

Went to try this place today for breakfast. DISAPPOINTED to say, the least, I had gotten avocado toast, which fell apart every bite you took I also got a Chia pudding, which was not very good but that was my first time ever trying that to be fair. I picked up a fruit parfait thinking it's a safe bet if I don't like anything else i'm trying. Boy was I WRONG, when i'm telling you the greek yogurt was so expired & sour I couldn't even swallow my first bite with out having to spit it out & rinse my mouth out. I am so angry I paid $37 and ended up with an expired Parfait that could have made me very sick. It was the worst Parfait I have ever tasted how can you mess up a Parfait, and yes it has an EXP date on it today is 9/17 it was dated for 9/21 so they really need to watch what they are serving because it was insanely sour & defiantly expired. Also they are very slow at service I had to wait 20 minutes for a piece of Avocado toast. The environment is very high strung & make you feel uncomfortable, all the vibes are just not there. People stare at you & the employees were semi nice but not very friendly. I really do not recommend this place. I don't like writing review but I feel people should know the experience I had. Thank you.

Visited the cafe and market the morning after a night's stay. Ordered the breakfast burrito and an iced white mocha coffee. Everything was great from the food to the service!

Good menu selection, fair prices, quick & competent service, outdoor seating options in nice location. The gardener / landscape staff at Wine & Roses is to be commended. Lovely grounds, especially the large flower garden area.

Super slow and poor service. Marginal food. Waited 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches. Appalling. 2 inches of cold focaccia on blta. Black hair and wilted microgreens on my salmon tartine. Fruit salad was good. Go to Lodi Beer Company for better service and food.

Came here for the first time on my lunch break, I ordered a caramel macchiato and.... I really wish I remembered the name of the sandwich I had but it was some kind of breakfast sand which with maple glazed bacon, egg and something else..It was so good. I devoured it! The cafe was so beautiful inside & out. & of course the workers (cashier, etc) were very nice, friendly, welcoming. I will be coming back here one of these days to try out other stuff, & this time I will want to eat outdoor and enjoy the scenic beautiful view of the outside.

The staff makes this place. Without them, it'd be your average run of the mill cafe.

Stopped in as my Brother lives just up the road. This was our second visit & it was the same as last time. The mocha, the latte, and the croissant were all just okay. I expected a better quality of taste. It's a cute shop but it lacks strong espresso and the food lacked taste. The wait was long do to pick up orders being prepared. I will not be going back.

Such a tempting bunch of baked goods! The mixed fruit with my sandwich was excellent and had a great variety. The lemon tart with a latte was exceptionally delicious. The French onion soup needed more broth and some melted mozzarella or provolone on top. It looked like a pile of cooked onions. Quite thick.
