Excellent 2022 Albarino and ambiance. Live music and a warm setting inside where there’s a buffet for this evening’s party and fire pits and plenty of additional seating right outside for an open feel.
This is another place you're made to feel like old friends. This is family owned and they welcome you with a genuine warmth. Denise (mom of the family) is your hostess and along with excellent wine usually has a home made treat to offer up. Its a place you immediately become friends with other patrons. I had the Cab...excellent ! And my gentleman had the Zin. P.S...NO small pours here! Check their schedule as they are not open everyday, but usually open at noon over the weekend. Highly Recommended!!
Nice, friendly place. Enjoyed visiting.
I had a nice wine tasting experience here. Owner's wife is host. She's a great server and provides a lot of information about her wines and makes recommendations. Their website is outdated/not updated. It states all wines are $23 but is not true because whe you visit the tasting room, those same wine varieties (more $) are $28-$32 per bottle or some wines are sold out. Otherwise this one of my favorite wineries in the Lodi area.
Beautiful place to wine taste. Wonderful wine and hostess! Loved it!
Stopped by on a week day. Was a bit quiet. They have a cozy front bar section and a nice wine tasting area in back with tables/chairs for a pleasant setting. A friendly server got us going. I tasted 2022 Alicante Bouschet =nice front palate, 2018 Charbono =a bit spicy & tart finish, 2018 Petite Syrah =lovely nose, light finish & Tre-Liscious=dry and not my favorite. Server was attentive. Winerys website doesn't have a way to allow purchasing Online and doesn't provide shipping options.
I stopped by for wine tasting. Tasting room has a bar in front and several tables inside main room. Was decorated festively for an event. Our server was one of the owners. I didn't catch her name but was most accommodating and very pleasant. She offered a lot of information about her wines as well as to where to go for dinner. I tasted 5 wines. All wines were good but my favorite was Alicante Bouschet. This wine smelled fragrant and looked inky but was smooth with a lot of fruit flavors. Wished I'd bought more than one bottle. I'll have to figure out how to have some shipped to me. Thank you for taking care us. Definitely will see you again. Was a bit disappointing to learn if one wants to buy wines & have it shipped, price is a bit expensive.
We sat inside at high tables and enjoyed our tasting served by nice lady who is part of the family owners. Complimentary caramel popcorn. My favorite wine was the 2018 Petite Syrah that had a husky nose, fruity mid-palate lushness, making a good food wine. Reasonable prices. Cute setting that has a big room set up for events, surrounded by racks of wine barrels.
Denise was so friendly and entertained me before she got a packed house! I really loved both the white and red flights. They also had popcorn of different varieties to snack on! Brock the wine maker came in later during my visit is knowledgeable and friendly and loves in his words “nerd out talking bout wine” ?
I failed to get pics of the huge back room but it’s lovely! Dog friendly too!! I truly hope to be back to Lodi to return to this tasting room! Cheers! ??
We happened to stop by during one of their events in the evening and it was great. We appreciate their wines as well as their hospitality and enjoy going there

The wine is so delicious that I joined the wine club on my very first visit earlier this year. The family owned and operated winery produces smooth and rich tasting wines.I serve both the red and white wines to my friends and family without hesitation. A typical response is “Wow! Where did you find this wine?” I just can’t wait for the holidays to roll around so I can pair my favorite wines with my favorite recipes. Please stop, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, delicious wines and a whole bunch of friendly people at The Twisted Barrel.Karen PRoseville, CA
Awesome! Looking forward to seeing you later this month for the rainier cherries and the wine and a good visit
