Stopped in for breakfast with a friend. Wait was short and service was friendly. Took time to get food, but someone did have to cook it! The place was busy, so a little loud. Cost was high, but food was good. The total bill was just over $50.

The Velvet Grill in both Galt and Lodi has wonderful food. It is always fresh, has great portions and served while it's hot. The homemade vegetable soup is delicious, as is the grilled salmon dinner, chili, and the pasta with mushrooms and Alfredo sauce. Velvet Creamery is my favorite place to eat for an affordable, delicious meal.

First time trying them today couldn't really get a menu online so I gave them a call to place my order...I was in the mood for some pancakes I've been trying to find a spot with good pancakes sad to say this is not it at all..food was basic and the pancakes sucked I don't think I will be going back any time soon huge disappointment 😔 feel like I just wasted my money I hate that feeling

There's nothing better than homemade grilled cheese, on homemade bread with homemade tomato basil soup, served by genuinely nice people having a good day, except maybe the homemade ice cream.

This restaurant has lost its flare as i have gone here for year since i was a child. First off the service is poor, secondly the quality has definitely gone down which i know i cant fully blame the restaurant but come on at least make prices cheaper if your gonna serve me bad strawberries and mediocre flavorless bacon and eggs… third the manager is extremely rude i didnt get her name but she has an orange bob and is abit of an older lady. Will not be returning for awhile nor recommending to anyone…

Ive gone to this restaurant for many years with my family as the food quality has gone down the more expensive it has as well as the service inside the restaurant, last i went to this restaurant with my family we were seated and mind you it wasnt busy there was only an older couple and myself with my 2 kids and we waited over 40 minutes to get our orders taken and then we waited about 30 minutes for our food before leaving I’m sad to say that i will not be going here again the manager i believe was also bery rude as i was waiting for my order i had asked a server if i could charge my phone and the manager told me i was unable to after and said unless i was ordering something as i had explained to her we order 20 minutes ago and havent received our order. Dont go here if you want bad service also i saw a young boy just wanting to hangout inside because it was hot out and he needed to charge his phone and he was kicked out very unreasonable restaurant hope they do better in the future…though i will not be returning after today :(
