Solid donuts. The worst experience I've ever had here was a 7/10 donut instead of an 8/10 donut. I only subtracted a star because it's expensive. I come here for donuts for my church often, and I hear no complaints other than we didn't get enough.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this donut shop, and I would strongly advise others to steer clear. The customer service was terrible - I was met with rudeness and dishonesty from the person serving me. To make matters worse, the donuts were extremely mediocre, tasted weird and funky, and are very overpriced! Gave my little kids tummy aches. The new owners here don't compare to the previous owners, especially the sweet old lady who provided exceptional customer service with her hard-working attitude, she worked so hard for all these many years. Unfortunately, the new owners fall really short in comparison. Regarding the old owners, the old guy was very creepy and super arrogant, but his wife, the old lady was amazing and sweet and my family members and close friends miss seeing her here. Unfortunately, with the new owners, the experience is nothing like it used to be. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else for your donut fix. Overall, a disappointing experience, I wouldn't recommend this place ever. My kids definitely don't recommend this place too! Children in general, tell it like it is when it comes to taste and opinions, they keep it one hundred especially with what they eat and taste.

Went for a snack and got a couple of those long chocolate donuts for $1.25 each and a chocolate mocha Starbucks drink for $3.It honestly filled me up and they were pretty nice. The store seems bare otherwise with little seating but they provide great service! :)

Love this place with the old owners. When I first tried it with the new owners, the donuts had a weird banana flavor. I tried again and so much better. Not the same as before but still good. Have several new kinds. The new owners are really trying hard.

This has been my favorite donut shop for over 20 years. The husband and wife always greet me the same way each time and I've even placed orders at 4 AM for pick up that day and he has always come through for us. Most recently the couple sold, and retired, their niece and nephew bought the place and the donuts are somewhat different now, but I'm assuming the new guy is working out the bugs. I truly hope this is the case, I was in a couple days ago to get an old fashion chocolate, and the donut didn't even resemble an old-fashioned chocolate so I'm hoping maybe he just had an off day. one good thing that they do now is they make chocolate raised with sprinkles, this used to be what I would special order at 4 AM usually on a weekly basis from the old owners so now they are just available to anyone which is very nice. I'm praying now-that the new owners live up to what the old owners made me accustomed to for over 20 years. Village Donuts, Lodi, Ca. the best donuts for 20+ years & hopefully the new owners figure it out.
