Grilled pesto chicken sandwich was good. Not a lot of pesto flavor. Messy to eat as the chicken pieces fell out & the aioli dripped all over. I wouldn't eat it in a car. The tomato bisque was ok. They could use spoons that weren't such a bowl shape, at least for the bisque. The bread had good flavor. I would go back again.

I love sourdough bread. So I thought I would check this sandwich shop. I had a turkey sandwich which was very good. It had a lot of turkey on it. The bread was great.

I used to love these sandwiches. Even though yes gossiping happening while you are waiting and it takes a while to get sandwiches … however what stopped me from going is twice, not once but twice while eating my sandwich a long hair was in the middle of my sandwich…twice! Noticed some of the girls have really long hair in a ponytail … which may not be enough to keep the hair out of food

Food is good, tomato bisque is a bit too sweet for my taste, when we went there, they were running out of "clam chowder soup" so we didn't get to try that.Staffs are nice, inside is clean.

I convinced my husband to try this restaurant again. We went there on a Saturday and to compliment the owners they did respond to my comment. We ordered salads and a sandwich for our son and again the food was fabulous, but unfortunately the tables weren't wiped again and there was only 2 other people in the whole place. If they could just tidy up the tables and sweep a little your food is awesome and your ratings would rise. I did convince my husband that we should support your restaurant and he's on board. Best regards,

Sarah Bruce

The bread is great..can't say much else since my food has been wrong twice already and something has been missing twice and drinks have been only carbonation twice... No third try for me.

The service here is terrible. They are so slow, every time we've placed an online order they have not even started making it until we show up at pickup time. No sense of urgency or customer service.

The sandwiches are good but be prepared to wait three times as long as anywhere else for your order; when you order online. Now when you go in and even when not busy it seems to be a chore for the staff to make the orders. The owner always apologizes but how many times is enough. Recap: Sandwiches good; Service BAD.

I'm a big sourdough bread fan so this caught my eye. Once I saw in a review that they had french dip sandwiches, I couldn't turn away.In I went. It was kind of like an upgraded Subway sandwiches vibe. Very casual... more of a grab and go place than a place you'd want to have a sit down meal at. So I ordered my french dip to go. I got the 4 inch sandwich which was a perfect size meal for me. Everything tasted delicious - loved how soft the bread was, and it had the right amount of sour taste to it. The roast beef was also tasty - but I do feel like for this kind of sandwich and with that thick of bread, you probably need to order a double meat for it - the meat part was definitely too little to make the sandwich feel very balanced. The melted swiss - terrific. I asked them to add some onion - they add just a little bit, very thin slices which I actually really liked - that went well with the sammy. A bit of horseradish would have elevated it even more along with double the amount of meat, but otherwise the au jus was great and love how much they gave of it, and I appreciated how warm the sandwich was and it stayed warm all the way home. I would totally go for this again if I came across a West Coast Sourdough.

What a horrible first impression! This has got to be thee dirtiest sandwich shop Ive ever walked into. Every single table in this restaurant was dirty, the garbage cans were overflowing, all the inventory was low and the restrooms were disgusting! My husband and I were the only customers which meant the workers weren't so busy that it couldn't of gotten cleaned up! Pretty disappointed

I have only tried one sandwich at west coast sourdough. So ,I will give that one sandwich a 5star ,because it was exactly what I was looking for ,Hot oven toast crispy crunch of sour dough, smoked turkey and pesto . Keeping in mind sandwich and drink and bag of chips $18 ..ohh actually I added soup . But hey ..is it me or has everything increased in price . 5star for that crispy crunchiness of that sandwich roll ?. Should I give it a 3 star or 4?. I’ll stick with five

We decided to try this new establishment today. We were in the area and my daughter recently tried this restaurant in Folsom. My wife and I both ordered their 6" Sandwiches and added Chips and a drink. Our bill was just under $30. My wife had a "Build your own" sandwich. She had a Salami, Turkey and cheese sandwich. I ordered their BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwich. Both of our sandwiches were very tasty. The bread is fresh and was warmed up. If you don't want Chips and a Drink, you can order a side salad & drink or Soup & Drink or Mac - N Cheese & Drink. Anyway if in the area and want a good sandwich stop by and try it out. They also offer soup by the cup, bowl or in a bread bowl

We have been in for a meal here a few times over the years. They have a good selection of different sandwiches, salads, and a delicious clam chowder (in a bread bowl, if you wish). I usually order a sandwich, but I have to say that I have been very happy with their salads, too. And if you know me, that is saying a LOT! I'm not a big fan of ordering a salad...especially when I can order a delicious sandwich or something else. However, their chicken Caesar salad is absolutely delicious! My wife normally orders the clam chowder in a bread bowl and of all the times we have been in there, I think there was only one time that she wasn't satisfied with the freshness of the bread. The first time we went in here, their bread was so fresh, you would have thought that someone had truly just pulled it out of the bread oven! These guys are located in kind of a weird corner of a few shops over by Petsmart, Kelly's Car Wash, and across the street from the Lodi Costco...give them a shot if you're ever in the area! The only thing that I would truly mark them down for would be that there is only one person taking orders, so it can get a line backing up rather quickly AND there aren't a ton of places to sit and eat your meal. Besides those "complaints", this has been a rather consistent business for us to stop by when we are hungry in the middle of shopping!

This was my FIRST experience with West Coast Sourdough. Reviews are RIGHT! I tried ordering online. Failed. Then I tried calling in my order. No one answered the phone. Then I drove to the store, while calling. I arrived at 7:14pm. Stores closes at 8pm. No customers but me \\u0026 2 employees in the store. I place my simple order. Soup, sandwhich, drink. The slender young man decides to start emptying all the big trash bins on wheels instead of starting sandwhich (Yep - I worked food service back in the day, too. He was starting Closing procedures 45 mins early so they could leave early. I get it). However, message to customer- Emptying trash is more important than your order. The girl then started moving big bags of sourdough bread around. Mine was on Gluten-Free. That bread is pre-made and individually wrapped. After moving bags of sourdough and tidying up in the back for a bit, she came back out and started my sandwhuch. She was new so she took her time and read the cranberry turkey recipe, which I understand. STICKER SHOCK when the tiny cup of stock, chicken noodle soup was...$8.95??? I bought it. Not as good as the $3.95, stock, Subway Chicken noodle. My order was done at 7:30pm So about 15 minutes to make ONE sandwhich so I agree with other reviewers...VERY slow service...Can't imagine \\\"rush time\\\" at lunch. I still would have given the store 3 stars as the young girl was trying, HOWEVER, as soon as I left the store, the slender white male with floppy brown hair, pulled out his VAPE PEN and PHONE shook his head/hair for awhile over the cash register (not sure what THAT was about but disgusting in a place that serves food. THEN he hopped up and SAT on the food counter reading his phone AND VAPING IN the store!!! ICK!!! Clearly the youngsters need more training and supervision. PIC is of young man that was vaping, sitting on counter, shaking hair and constantly on his phone.
