Used to LOVE the Cobb salad from here and actually justified spending $15 on it. But this time, the salad was far beneath normal standards. Chicken was burnt, not grilled, and left a bitter taste in my mouth. The lettuce was old and spoiled looking. Before they would add a generous heaping of guacamole. Also, previously they used this thick-cut shredded cheddar that made the salad look elevated and worth $15, but not anymore.
If there’s a noticeable difference in your quality, prices should be lowered too

I usually hate leaving reviews, but wow. As someone who works in the service industry, I’m hoping this was just an off day for the staff. Our food arrived cold, and the coffee creamer curdled—usually a sign it’s expired. We were given no utensils or napkins and had to ask for basic necessities. The pancakes I ordered were supposed to come with fruit, but didn’t. I also noticed other customers facing similar issues; the table next to us had to retrieve salt and pepper themselves from the empty host stand.
I’m honestly still in shock—it wasn’t the warm welcome I expected on my first visit to Lodi. I really hope this was a one-off situation or maybe someone's first shift. Either way, I can’t recommend this place, but please, tip your servers regardless—they’re likely doing their best under tough circumstances.

Super yummy and our waitress with pink highlights (didn’t catch her name!!) was really nice! And we were able to buy one of their cute glass cups.

West Oak Nosh is a great place for a quick day date or a night out with friends! My husband and I had a late lunch there and really enjoyed it. The modern, casual, industrial vibe is fun. The service is decent. Plus, they have a great selection of drinks and flavorful dishes! This restaurant is semi-German inspired with a modern twist. It emphasizes freshness and creativity! My Shnitzel sandwich was to tie for. The meat was cooked perfectly. My husband enjoyed his burger and fries. Plus, the spicy pomegranate margarita was a fun try! (I would get it without the pomegranate juice next time, the tart didn’t balance for me.)

Though we went in wintertime, this place opens up with a garage door style wall that leads to a small patio. There is a dining room adjacent to the bar, which would be more of a sit down or family vibe. I can imagine that it would get very slammed on Farmers Market evenings or during any popular downtown events.

Overall, we really liked West Oak Nosh and will return!

Parking: Parking is easy during off peak times. When downtown is busy, expect to park father away.

Kid-friendliness: My kids would enjoy this restaurant and I would see no issue with dining with them here!

This place is only passable in every way. I Don’t understand the great reviews. The food was disappointing, service was mediocre and the atmosphere ok. Definitely overpriced for the quality.

The pastry was ok , the sandwich was mediocre. Devils egg was a joke . I won’t recommend this place . Nevertheless it might be because I am too picky . Can give a try if you are around Lodi . Support our local business

The food was actually pretty bad. It sounds good, on the menu, but what a let down. Especially the Garlic Cheddar Fries. Sounds delicious. Completely inedible.

Excellent food, great draft beer selection & plenty of other bottles and cans to choose from. Get a jar of pickled peppers or onions to go, you won't regret it.

Hipster vibe, fun place, wish the food was more consistent. Took the family for lunch. My husband's chicken sandwich was actually really good, but my daughter's was burnt. Boys got burgers, they were ok. Fries were delicious. My avocado toast breakfast dish was just ok. Food was all brought out at different times. Not just here's one load and then the next, but half the table was half done by the time the last dish was brought out. We will probably try it one more time to see if it was just an off day.
