1st & Last time. Beware-Check your bank statement. Food was good, the Mgr was nice but it's like any other sushi place. This review is how they don't honor best business practices when you clearly show them your bank statement & how they/their system charged twice. The Mgr showed me their till receipts & it showed 1 charge. However I showed them the bank's statement of 2 debits, posted NOT pending. He proceeded to show me directions to read on his phone on how to dispute. Which I did, hence me being there in person. It instructed one to go to the merchant, show the bank statement & request a refund. I did ALL the steps & still wouldn't honor it. Even though he had me read this on his cell. We will dispute the duplicate charge. So BEWARE their system can malfunction or glitch & charge you double, triple and they will do nothing about it.
Honestly you can find the same if not better sushi elsewhere & a business with integrity.

Been wanting to check out this spot for years. Small intimate spot in a corner shopping plaza. Walking in, you can tell this sushi spot is surrounded by locals. We seated right away. The young waitress explained the special for the day and answered any questions we had regarding menu items. We ordered the special fried shishito peppers. Sorted veggie tempura + a dragon 🐉 roll to share. 1 Udon and 3 Ramen soup. More than enough food. Roll was definitely on the smaller size/portion. Really came here for the ramen and it did not disappoint. I'll be back soon.

Sushi is almost religious experience for me. I have had a lot of it in a lot of places. Unfortunately, Yume kinda let me down. While the salmon was very fresh and tasty, the rolls are so small and wildly overpriced. Let's talk about the size issue, because this is more of a deal breaker for me than the price. There is so little in the rolls, and they're the wrapped in so little rice that they don't really stick together and begin to come unwrapped when picked up. I would rather have a roll that is less pieces and wrapped big enough to hold its shape. We also tried the teriyaki beef and broccoli and the meat was inconsistently cooked, some was really overdone. The sauce was also disappointing because it had very little flavor. I get that this is Lodi, but I can get sushi in San Francisco that's not only markedly better, but also cheaper. I usually give any place w couple tries, but I really don't think I will be back here, and really can't recommend you try it.

We got sushi from here and it was very underwhelming. Out of all the other sushi places in Lodi this place is the most expensive and tastes the worst. The staff were nice. Would not go here again.

Yume is comfort food. My favorites are the udon, pumpkin tempura, sashimi mix, and tuna poke roll. But I don't think you will go wrong choosing any dish. Quiet atmosphere, quaint interior, friendly service.

Yume is my favorite ramen spot in Lodi. The California rolls are delicious and the ingredients taste fresh, and the ginger that they serve with the rolls is so crisp and tasty. The food is delicious and the staff is always friendly.

Excellent. A tiny, authentic gem. A Japanese-owned sushi and ramen shop! The ramen was simple but excellent. I was surprised because it came out without the ubiquitous bamboo shoots and red-died ginger of so many establishments. The owner was gracious enough to answer my questions about this, and he explained that such condiments do not normally accompany pork-based broth ramen. He also told us he uses only fresh noodles made locally. It shows. The noodles had excellent flavor and texture. The restaurant also has a nice wine selection, plus soft drinks and even ramune. A great date night place when you want to keep it low-key, local, and tasty.

Food tastes good but portion too small for how expensive it is. They specifically try to make this a high end restaurant with their ambient music and overall atmosphere. However it's just not worth spending so much for so little food. Be careful with the tea, we thought it was 4.50 for a whole kettle of tea but it was 4.50 for each cup per person (kind of deceptive). On anothet note the server and chef/ owner was really nice. Overall, a 3/5 stars from an average sushi enjoyer.
