PATIO PANTRY

The food is decent for the prices, but my main problem with Patio Pantry is that it's shut down fairly randomly for weeks at a time. I get that it's basically a cafeteria for LLU students, but that makes it very unreliable for us civilians trying to squeeze lunch into a lunch break. I've gone many times only to find it gated up and needing to rush somewhere else. The menu isn't very informative (or extensive) either. In true blue zone fashion, the patio pantry has vegetarian and vegan options. I probably get a haystack here at least once a week. A haystack is basically a taco salad, but with veggie meat instead of ground beef. Some people just get it with beans. It's delicious, and you need to try it right now. People are helpful, but it is understaffed so it can sometimes take a while if there are a lot of people in line. there's not really a great atmosphere to eat, and it's hard to eat...read full review

I LOVE Patio Pantry. I used to come here for a quick lunch very often while at school. I say that in past tense because they are currently closed for renovations... When will they reopen?! My questions are met with shrugs and "I don't know". Anyways, awesome value for what you get. They have giant burritos and haystacks here. Delicious sandwiches and burgers.
