I’ve been going to the Budget Cafe in Lompoc for over 30 years and it cooks up the same delicious food every time I’ve been there. The waitress is one of the best you could ask for. The ambiance is old school and a welcome site for sore eyes. I hope to be coming here for a long time. BTW the food is cooked fast and the quality of the meals are done to your liking. The eggs and vegetables are farm fresh. You won’t go wrong stopping her for any of the many items on the menu.
Down home-old fashioned kind of place. Enjoyed our meals and they only had one server who was busy. We'll be back to try other meals for sure.

“the budget cafe” = name speaks for itself! but, and this is a big but, it’s a decent place to eat if the universe lines all the stars up for that day and the servers and kitchen staff are in a good mood and ready to pump out some good food. such as the day my great niece and i came in for breakfast. the place had already emptied out from the morning rush of locals and we were the only customers there. the server was nice until she started talking with us and then she became...
