My husband & I came here for the first time last week. While the outside looks kind of run down & the area seems a little sketchy, we went in to give it a try. The inside is just exactly what you want an old-time Mexican restaurant to look like. Dark-ish with lots of booths & tables. It has a running fountain & Mexican style decorations on the walls. Chips and salsa are really good. The 2 times I have been there have been great both times. Since it is up the road from a new job our company is doing, I look forward to keep coming back.
I have been eating there for almost 55 years. The food is always served fast and it is so reasonable. It's a great place to see all of the regulars for go there for TACO TUESDAY so it's a place for all of the regular eaters.
