My daughter and I finally tried this place. I was so happy with the service and drinks. Ray got a shake and I got a pineapple whip,both were wonderful. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely lovely owner and sweet employees. Delicious food & super nice casual atmosphere . . . BTW, I am the person mentioned in "tru's" scathing review - he and I had a brief conversation as I was dashing into the little restaurant and back out, in a hurry and late for an appointment. I was not there to grab a bagel or coffee that day, just to say hello ; ) to my friends (owner & employee of Coastal Grindz) since I was in the shopping center. This fellow seemed to follow me in and then back out for some reason, and completely completely completely misunderstood the quick sweet friendly conversation(s). Hilarious misunderstanding . . . anyhow, I hope his life is going better now, onward & upward! Best wishes to all ; ). . . M

I was heading to my brother's house and I heard a lady upset in the cafe thinking that they were just not selling her a bagel or coffee I offered to buy myself she let me know that she owns that spot and others. It turns out she drove down to yell at her worker about a phone charger . I was wearing a shirt that said legalize freedom she asked why I was wearing it. I told her because I believe in freedom don't you? She said she was born entitled she has no worries about freedom because she has the money to pay for what she needs. She went on to explain to me how entitled she was. And then asked aren't you entitled because you're driving a 2003 Dodge ram I said no that's my grandfather's truck we do everything we can to stay afloat. She told me that she was entitled completely and pinions like me don't matter it was a nice conversation and I did not lash back at her but this lady who owns this establishment and any other establishments she owns in the valley she is one messed up lady. All I did was try to offer to buy her the bagel or coffee thinking she could not afford it or was being treated wrong and she said she's better than anybody and doesn't have to worry about anything very very weird

On line the menu has a breakfast sandwich with scrambled egg bacon cheese on sourdough bread. My husband had to go up to order it and when he got home it only had egg and cheese for the same price as on the menu on line. They either need to update their menu or she left off the bacon for the same price as on the online menu.

Cute Place! Good choices for coffee, tea and sandwiches.
I got the iced honey lavender late and it was delicious! What’s prompted me to leave this review is that instead of using regular ice cubes, they use COFFEE ice cubes, so your coffee won’t water down as you go on about your day!!! I think that’s awesome, thank you Coastal Grindz!
