We (party of 8) had a wonderful experience hosted by Dan in their enclosed gazebo on a rainy Friday. Dan, and his dog Miles (for Miles Davis) were extremely welcoming and engaging. The wines, starting with a sparkling wine, were all very tasty and from estate fruit. The Pinots were especially delicious. Thanks Dan for a memorable time!
We enjoyed a bottle of Kessler-Haak 2018 Pinot Noir Ohana previously in an Argentinian Steakhouse in San Francisco. We made a mental note to ourselves that we'll give the vineyard a visit when we're in the SLO area. Had a wonderful wine tasting session today with the wine maker/owner Dan Kessler. Thanks Dan for your hospitality. My wife and I are both BIG fans of your wines...
Amazing winery, even more amazing owners. Dan and Ellen made our visit to the winery so special and enjoyable. It really felt like we were friends they were having over to their house just to enjoy wine for a couple of hours. Amazing Pinots, I could not choose a favorite! We were in town just for the weekend celebrating my birthday and even left with a special gift, and of course a few bottles. :) Definitely add Kessler-Haak to your list to visit!
