Terrible food we ask for fish fillet with garlic and fried tilapia with garlic. The fillet was extremely greasy and the fish was no flavor are all we don’t touch the food and returns. We complain but nothing happens. We ask for the check and they charge us the 2 orders. The Owner tell us we need to paid because on Lompoc all the restaurant never do a returned very very bad customer service specially for the Owner. We never coming back to El Palmar Restaurant Lompoc 🤷‍♀️

Wasn't sure about traveling to Lompoc for this one but let me tell you, don't look like much but the shrimp and octopus tostada's are legit. My wife had shrimp enchiladas with green sauce and they were fire too... Refried beans are legit homemade Tortillas are made onsite.
If you want great Mexican that's very reasonable this is the spot!!
Be prepared the sign is missing on top of the roof but it's here
Staff are very friendly and helpful too.

Incredible chicken burrito in a delicious homemade tortilla. The salsa was amazing too, great flavor with the right amount of spicy.

Best shrimp tacos, bar none! It's rare that I go to a restaurant and order the same thing every time, but the shrimp tacos are so amazing and unique that I never order anything else. They don't deep fry them, they chop em up and grill em, put them in a fresh, homemade corn tortilla, put a bit of a ranch type dressing, cilantro and onion. Simple. Perfect. Delicious. ??The refried beans are great as well. The owner, I believe his name is Juan, but we always called him Leo is always there, always grilling and always very friendly. Not sure where Leo came from, maybe because he first set up shop inside the old Lenny's bar (Now Johnny's) but he seems to talk to nearly everyone. As I'm writing this review some other patrons were paying for there order and I heard them say "best Chile Rellenos in town." So maybe I'll try them next time, but I don't know, ? ? tacos.

Vegetarian options: Always plenty of vegetarian options at a Mexican restaurant. Even if it's not on the menu, I'm sure they'll figure something out.
