We were visiting Lompoc for the first time on December 27th and decided to have dinner at this Panda Express location. We ordered four “Bigger Plates,” each costing $12.70. According to the menu, this is the largest portion size, but the portions we received were extremely small and disappointing. We have visited several other Panda Express locations, where both the food portions and service have always been excellent, which is why this experience was so surprising. I politely suggested to the staff that the portions should better reflect what customers are paying for, but they responded in a rude manner in front of my kids. I then politely asked for utensils, and the staff member continued to display a tense attitude, even though I was using manners such as “please” and “thank you.” Panda Express should seriously do more staff training at this location. I 100% DO NOT recommend getting food at this location, just eat elsewhere (any other place is literally better) because you WILL be disappointed. Based on the portions and the overall experience, this location feels more like “Stingy Express” than Panda Express. Honestly, it would have been a better experience to eat at the 7-Eleven across the street on Central Ave and H Street. This was the most upsetting experience I’ve had at a Panda Express, to the point that I felt compelled to write this review.

when that fails it calls someone from another country to take my order.
They didnt give me the soy sauce which i asked for.
They gave me 5 pieces of honey walnut shrimp? thats a rip off.
Never going back with that garbage outsourcing and customer service.

Lompoc Panda Express is NOT like other Panda Express’s!! They should change their name to no “No Flavor Express”! And if you order and decide you don’t want the oily flavorless noodles & rice, (you know the stuff they fill the container with so there is no room for anything else) but get them separately you get them in this tiny box my guess 3 oz. I asked why the difference? Answer this is the size of our containers. I think if an actual Panda Express person did a spot check they would get shut down! WORST PANDA EXPRESS IN THE CHAIN!

Normally we love this panda, but lately it has gone down hill. The drive thru takes an extremely long time, they keep shorting us on food, and the veggies seem old like they’ve been under a heat lamp for days. Also something weird has happened to the string bean chicken and mushroom chicken. Both have taken on a weird sweet flavor that they’ve never had before. I don’t know if a new chef is doing something different or accidentally making the recipe wrong but it makes both dishes taste disgusting. I really hope they can get it back together. We love panda, but it’s been such a disappointment lately.

I bought about $40 worth of food so I asked for some napkins. The person at the drive thru said that there were napkins already in the utensils. I guess it was too much work for her to grab me a few extra napkins. I go to this location and never had this problem until now. Last time I’ll go to this location, Thank you.
Usually when I travel, my first priority is to look for Panda Express because it's fast (when we don't have much time to waste at the restaurants), and it's healthier choice than mostly unhealthy fast food (burgers and pizzas) everywhere. I didn't write any reviews for any other Panda Express before because they have the same standards. This is first time I wrote a review for this Panda Express because a staff went around each table to check if the food was good. I was surprised because this only happens at the restaurants, not at the chain like Panda Express.

Went to the drive-thru, i told the person who took my order, I would like to order one more thing.. it do not take a rocket scientist to figure out.. added to the existing order, instead she told me that I would have to come inside to place the order or drive back through the drive-thru window to place the order.. I was shocked when she told me that I think they should send people back to school to take a simple food order.. damn I was already in line.. what the hell the third grade I can figure that out..
