Great service. Forgot to take a picture of food. However I just don’t carry phone and document everything although those are the things the make having a phone worth while capturing moments like coming to this humble restaurant which has been around since 1947 right after the war. My question is how it managed during the time te Japanese people got a crime committed against them by their own government in the United States. I know it’s a heavy duty question. I am a history professor and am aware of American racism especially during the second world wars. America went to fight other racist but still struggled to uhh its own forms of hate. Moving forward the experience was nostalgic. Hot tea a pot to myself the price was great ,quality was great. Staff was outstanding lovely service full of care. They outa smile on your face for sure.

The food is fresh and so delicious! You can tell they have perfected their food over the years and still put love into the dishes. The portions are pretty large because they're meant for sharing, so perfect for the family. The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated. Fast and friendly service. It has been 15 years since I last visited this place. I was stationed nearby and would come in 2-3 times a week. The owner would come out to chat with us, making the experience truly unforgettable! The portions were enormous back then. Thank you for a cherished food memory!
The Rice Bowl is out of this world. You walk in to a historic and fun decor, are immediately greeted by the owner who is incredibly nice, and then are treated to the best Chinese food in the county. A lot of the prices seem high until you realize that all of those prices are for a family sized portion. Also, all of those entrees can be served as a smaller portion for a lower price. As we sat down he brought us tea, which is such a welcoming gesture. I ordered the szechuan beef (extra spicy) and the fried rice and it might be the best of either that I've ever had. I've been here in Lompoc for 2 years and it's only my first time coming here, It looks like I have some lost time to make up. I'll be coming here once a week for the foreseeable future! Thanks again to the owner for giving us such a great experience.

Best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The decor is unique, a mix of retro and more traditional Chinese elements. Service was fantastic, the owner is so friendly and gracious. There were some customers that came in while I was dining who were horrendously rude and he handled it with aplomb. Truly a hidden gem.
To the person who complained about the price - the servings are massive and cost less per person than going to a place like Applebee’s.
