Adam is an amazing person, super kind, very knowledgeable, with years of great somm & winemaking experience. He helped us a lot, answering countless detailed questions we threw at him - all with joy :-)
Sandhi & Piedra Sassi wines are naturally all of outstanding quality.
Thanks to Adam this visit was without a doubt the best experience during our entire California wine trip (we visited multiple wineries at Napa, Paso Robles, Santa Barbara).
All this in an industrial setting of Lompoc, which is a wine-o experience itself. Be ready - no vines nor picturesque views here... other then Stockinger barrels :-)
Very happy about our tasting at Sandhi's, even if we were a little rushed on time we were treated incredibly well and got to understand the philosophy and wine making.
Visited a few months ago and had such a spectacular experience. We were the only ones there and felt like the experience was tailored to our interests. Sean was so knowledgable and the wines were delicious. Lovely Pinot Noir, but the Chardonnay...all I can say is the bottles of Romance are worth it. So happy we made the stop - already trying to find an excuse to go back.
My wife and I attended a private, curated tasting at Sandhi this past Friday. Our host, Adam, exceeded our lofty expectations. The wines were stunning and Adam's knowledge was fabulous. All the wines, older and newer, were terrific.
Had a great experience doing the cellar tour with Sean. So knowledgeable and so cool to see where the delicious wine is made.
Sean was a wonderful host! Incredible Chardonnay, Pinot and Syrah. Absolutely be back. Cheers!
Great tasting. One of the best in the area. There’s a tour to the vineyard and cellar just like you’d get at a winery in Europe. The wines are great, and we even tasted a Domaine Le Cote. It’s definitely a different experience than a tasting room which is what you normally see in California.
The one thing to be aware of is the start of the tour is hard to find. Make sure you go to the building address on Google. There’s no signage, but our guide was waiting outside. There’s actually an old and now closed Sandhi tasting room closer to the front of the Wine Ghetto, don’t go there by accident!
Best tasting of our whole wine trip. We had a blast and the wines are unforgettable. It was a much more personal experience than most wineries and Adam went above and beyond our expectations, which were high because.... Sandhi. We can't wait to go back!
They focus on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, but don’t forget the cool-climate Syrah… ask about Piedrasassi ;)
Sandhi was our first stop on our Sta. Rita Hills wine tour after trying a bottle of their Chardonnay we found in New Orleans (and it was phenomenal). We were very excited to visit and they only exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide, Adam, was super informative and eager to answer any and all questions.Every wine we tasted was absolutely fantastic and you can tell Sandhi takes great pride in their product. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!
Amazing wines and amazing tour guide (Adam). Their dedication to their wines and processes are unparalleled. Would recommend this tour and their wines to anybody.

The experience — best described as “beyond” — will for sure be one of the most memorable of my wine life. We were the first appointment on a quiet Monday morning, and were met by Adam with a welcoming smile and a glass of sparkling. Adam proved to be a true hospitality gem, taking us through the facility, the ethos, and current and back releases (including some DDLC: IYKYK). Will be returning for certain!
One Star: Answer your phone!!! There is nothing worse than being open and NOT answering the telephone. If you don’t answer the phone, then you won’t get any business. Yes, I called during business hours.
Their wines are amazing!! Winemakers are RockStars!!
Great tour. Great wines!
