We have been long time Sandhi and DDLC club members. When we reached out to say we were going to be the area and would enjoy showing friends the Sandhi experience - Jon and the team did not disappoint. We had a sparkling tasting in the Sta Rita Hills of DDLC and then back to the warehouse where tasted many Chardonnays, Pinots, and a few other library selections. We even got a little advanced wine making class with DJ. Thanks for a memorable visit!

Inspired by my love of Sandhi chardonnay and episodes of somm TV, my girlfriends and I took a trip to SB and kicked off our trip with a visit to Sandhi winery. The experience was incredible - on a beautiful, sunny day, without a cloud in the sky (in January, no less!), we went on a guided tour of the surrounding vineyards and learned so much about the history, the microclimate's influence, and the area's evolution over time. Then, we toured the facilities and got an in-depth look at the art and science of winemaking, from picking grapes to storing and aging. We ended with a fantastic tasting - combining new vintages with older wines. We could not have asked for a better experience - nice, knowledgeable staff combined with great wine!!! We can't wait to come back!

He teaches you about the wines, vineyards and soil so you become knowledgable about the wines you are enjoying and, like us, will definitely purchase! We ended our tasting with delicious focaccia! One of the best winery visits I have ever had. John was our host and his hospitality was above and beyond. We received a private tour and tasting, and even got to taste some library releases. The wines were phenomenal, vineyards beautiful, and staff incredibly friendly and thoughtful. Highly recommend a visit!

Visited back in December and had a truly memorable time. Highly recommend the Vineyard tour. Getting to see La Cote, Bloom's Field and Memorius Vineyards was truly special. Jonathan (from Sandhi) was incredibly friendly and knowledgable. He taught me and my friend (WSET3 and CRM) a lot about the area, and its soil types. On top of that we went to the Crush pad where we learned even more about Sashi's ethos and style as a wine maker. But, wait...There's more :) The whole experience ended with ridiculously awesome wines, zero pressure to buy anything (but, I still did...the wines are that good...and incredibly well priced for the quality to boot). Throw in getting to discuss more about wine with someone as on it and fun as Jonathan and it was a perfect experience. Already told my sister and bro-in-law that this is a must visit next time they are in the area.

My Sandhi (and Domaine de la Cote and Piedrasassi) vineyard tour and tasting was wonderful. Sandhi makes amazing wines and Adam was super well educated about Sandhi's wines and all things wine, particularly Burgundy, Italian, and Burgundy-style American wines! The full tasting experience with a tour through the vineyards was a ton of fun, despite the rainy/wet conditions. I will absolutely return during my next visit to the area... Could not recommend more highly!
Great wine. Unfortunately the weather was not good so we cannot head to the vineyard, but we had a very good time in the tasting room. Our host Jonathan is very knowledgeable and poured us a few more wine.

I’ll start by saying this upfront - I know very little about wine, and I came along with a friend who is far more knowledgeable than I am. That said, Jonathan made the experience incredibly accessible. He did a wonderful job walking us through the vineyard, the winemaking process, and the story behind each pour in a way that felt engaging rather than intimidating. Even as a complete novice, I felt welcomed and genuinely learned a lot.
Finding the place took a bit of patience, though - Apple Maps initially sent us to a police station and then a nearby residential street, but once we realized it’s tucked away in the “Wine Ghetto,” the location made sense. It’s nestled among a cluster of warehouse spaces, quietly sitting at the corner, and feels like a hidden gem once you arrive.
Overall, despite the slightly tricky navigation, the experience itself was well worth it. Thoughtful, educational, and enjoyable even for someone who knows nothing about wine. I would highly recommend it.
