We got the food truck for my husband's 40th birthday at our house and couldn't have been happier! The food was delicious and Sarah and her family did an amazing job getting the party fed even dessert! Everyone was asking me where I found them because they wanted her contact info. Sarah made everything super easy from communication to menu. 5 stars and definitely will be using the Sassafras truck again!

Sooooooo good!?. Great mix of textures, slaw 100% on point, spicy and bold and delicious.

Has the hot chicken sandwich. Was pretty good with a decent kick, a bit on the salty side which might have been the fry oil. The chicken was well fried and didn't dry out which is nice. The slaw on the sandwich was a nice compliment though. Definitely will give them another try though.

Review is for the food truck. I got the hot and spicy chicken sandwich. It took a while to get but I really enjoyed it and it was a big sandwich. $14. And I would get the spicy version as it wasn't that spicy at all.

Made reservations at Fess Parker Winery at noon specifically so we could have lunch from the Sassafrass food truck. The food truck showed up after 1 pm, and I was the second person to order. It has now been 30 minutes since I ordered, and my order of 2 sandwiches is still not ready. Absolutely ridiculous.

Found this delicious food truck by chance when our group went to Fess Parker Winery last Saturday. Unfortunately I didn't take photo of everything the group had but I know we ordered the salad with the hot chicken, the grilled cheese and the hot Tennessee chicken which was delicious and I included pictures of. I don't take spicy to well sometimes but this had the perfect kick and the aioli sauce was super complimentary to the spice. If I come across this food truck again I would t hesitate to order from them.

Had the Tennessee hot chicken sando? The chicken was crispy, and the sauce on the coleslaw-like veggies in it was delicious. The bun was fresh and soft. Just right ?

One of the best spicy chicken sandwiches I've ever had no cap, the chicken on this sandwich is perfectly cooked and the buns .... Don't even get me started, they are PERFECT.

Had the tri-tip sandwich with aoli mayo and onions. WOW! This thing was probably one of the best sandwiches (or anything else) I've ever eaten! Amazing, hot, bread was soft and fresh and the meat was seasoned with the right amount of spice. If you get a chance to get something from this truck - GET IT!!

The best spicy chicken sandwich I've ever had. Seriously. They were parked at Fess Parker Winery the last time we were there and they did not disappoint! Chicken was crispy, moist, spicy and SO flavorful. The green apple slaw was the perfect companion to cool down the spice. Worth the $15 for sure!
