Came for lunch which I planed a week ago so my friend could try this place for her birthday and they are not open it’s clearly stated on the door and website that the restaurant would be open today?? 11-2:30 tried to call and no luck just a voice mail saying we are closed. Honestly the prices are high and Portions are small but the food is good. Really hate there limit hours and now I’m just disappointed that my plans for my friends birthday have to be changed. Hope they take this seriously and get more professional for being so expensive!

Every meal has been outstanding! The service is superb! My favorite cafe in this town! And, the desserts…… Omg! You have to visit this cafe because once you do, you will keep returning!

Though Sissy's serves an outstandingmeal in a comfortable and classy setting, it was tonight's waitress, Tiffany, who topped off our evening with her warm and polite personality punctuated with smiles and laughs. This lady is a valuable asset to the business!!! ??

Safe Outdoor Dining during the Pandemic under tenting and physically distanced tables. Sissy's Uptown Café may be the most culinarily sophisticated restaurant in Lompoc. From what I have sampled, there is an emphasis on good quality ingredients, freshness of produce, having awareness of being able to match different textures, flavours, aromas that complement each other into creating a whole that is more than its parts. I) Warm Mushroom Salad: Sliced oyster, button, Shītakè (shee tah keh) mushrooms lightly dressed with warm oil & vinegar over a bed of refreshing, fibre rich frisée and California style Mesclun, a mixture of greens that changes seasonally according to the Chef de Cuisine. Roasted whole hazel nuts bring in a crunchy, toasty, woody sweetness but a faint tannic bitterness acts as a counter as well as adding another layer of subtle complexity. The final triumphant touch is adding generous crumbles of deep bluish and white coloured Maytag Blue Cheese that is salty, creamy fermented dairy Umami that transforms this dish to haute cuisine status. 1a) Melville Estate Chardonnay Santa Rita Hills 2017 is not the typical buttery, oaky, apple, w/ faint yellow tint. It is an unusual Chardonnay colored a lively light greenish yellow Chartreuse. Scents of apple, pineapple, limey, lacquer, lemon méringue. Flavours of spiced apple cider, bit dry, sweet-sour, pineapple. Finish is tongue raspy, acidic apple cider. Great foil to all the salty, creamy, sweet, fermented blue cheesiness. The folks here at Sissy's know their local wines. Sorry that the wine tasting events are cancelled due to the Pandemic. 2) Coconut Cream Pie is like a shredded coconut inflected gooey, fluffy, moist, vanilla custard and Crème Chantilly cloud nestled in a thin multilayered, sweet, densely crunchy crust. The mild flavours hark to comfort food. 2a) Coconut Macadamia Nut Pie: Very different from the Coconut Cream. It somewhat resembles Pecan Pie which is thicker, heavier, moister, stickier on a grand scale using dark treacle. CMNP filling is lighter, mostly on the bottom and seems made from possibly corn starch thickened light corn syrup and bit of condensed milk. The rest is a semi loose conglomeration of large crunchy, roasted, toasty, buttery, macadamia nuts & shredded coconut for fibrous texture. Great pie for those who love pecan pie and are nutoholics. Steve was the amiable, gracious waiter, and since it was toward the end of lunch hour, we got to chat a while about the charms of living in a small town. And this was one of them...taking time out to show warm welcome to out of town strangers. Also got to talk a touch w/ the chef who came out to get a breath of fresh air. I suspect that Sissy's is the most sophisticated kitchen for miles round and is a must when visiting historic Downtown Lompoc and points nearby. 5- stars for the accomplished yet homey food, and also for the hospitable, open friendliness offered to out of town guests.

Food & Service were fabulous! All personnel were very friendly and on top of it! No 'not my table' here. Everyone was great! Wish they had longer hours.

My husband and I are visiting Lompoc for the dog show and the real treat is to have dinner at Sissy’s restaurant. We had a fun time with Mandy as our wait staff and Lacey. The food is excellent. John had the filet the first night and he said it was one of the best he’s had in California. I had a delicious halibut dinner. But the big stars at Sissy’s are the awesome homemade dessert. The first night John had the carrot cake and I had the coconut cream pie. Nirvana. Sec

While the food is good the prices don't make sense. The specials were the same prices as the same item on the menu? And the pie slices are $9, which seemed a little steep.

Delicious! We were here on a Thursday evening. I had the Walnut crusted chicken with potatoes and asparagus. My husband had a filet with mashed potatoes and asparagus. A fresh basket of breads to start and a cold glass of Riesling. My chicken was tender and crusty and hot. Potatoes were seasoned well and smooth. The waitress saved the last piece of homemade lemon Meringue pie for me too. Good service. Excellent food. The menu changes frequently as do the hours according to the concierge at our hotel, but it is defininitely worth a phone call to see if they are open.

Sissy's was a nice surprise! We stopped in Lompoc for lunch and fully enjoyed the experience. The staff was Uber friendly and nice, what a great experience and the food was yummy to boot! I had a very tasty potato and bacon soup with a tuna melt which was the absolute best I have had in a long time. The French dip looked and was reported to be very good. I would strongly suggest if you go thru Lompoc, do yourself a favor and stop in at Sissy's, you will not regret it. Enjoy!
