What bad tacos, what bad service and the tamarind water very bad

On June 6th, 2024. I took my husband and 11 year old who just graduated from elementary school out for BRUNCH. One chose American host (which was packed, the other another restaurant in town) and I chose DON TACHOS.
Not only was the guy in the front welcoming and patient with us (with me bc I was undecided on what to order) but towards the end he came to our table and gave my son an ARROZ CON LECHE CONTAINER to go congratulating him for graduating that morning. I WISH I WOULD HAVE ASKED FOR THE GENTLEMAN'S NAME BUT I will for sure NEXT VISIT.
Not ONLY was the food delicious but the gesture alone. Meant alot to me at least That was the icing to my boys cake and made our entire day ONE TO REMEMBER. So thank you.

The food was delicious. The asada burrito had a lot of flavor. The chilaquiles with green salsa were amazing. My kids also had the shrimp tacos and enchiladas. Everything was good.

The Food is amazing so is the staff. They know what I like & always get it right! I drive 20minutes out of my town to Lompoc just for their Al’pastor tacos. It’s well worth the drive . Best Al’Pastor I’ve ever had !

Favorite taco shop in Lompoc. They serve a very wide range of tacos. The Al Pastor taco is served with a slice of fruit on it, which only about 20% of taco places do. The salsa bar has lots of toppings for you to choose from. The meat was cooked nicely and the tortillas tasted fresh.The atmosphere here is really nice-- there are a lot of pictures from around the Lompoc valley which adds to the sense of it being a local mom-and-pop place.Overall, a great local restaurant with an authentic feel and taste.
