No more CAC discounts. I’ve been a loyal customer here for a long time, but my recent visit was disappointing. For the first time, my military discount was denied by the new manager on duty. Additionally, the service was off—my order for a beef Tri-Tip Platter was served as chicken fried steak, and I was charged an extra $4 for French toast that I was led to believe was part of the meal. I tipped and didn't make a scene at the time, but the change in management and lack of attention to detail means we won’t be returning.

Very disappointed with our experience. We waited about 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us and seated us. After being seated, it took another 15+ minutes for someone to come by to ask for drinks, and nearly 30 minutes before our food order was taken.

I was looking for a vegetarian option for lunch, but there were none available on the menu. I ended up ordering a chicken sandwich, which was very bland and not worth the $20+ price. On top of that, none of the staff members seemed welcoming — I didn’t see a single smile, which made the experience feel even more uninviting. Overall, very disappointing.

I’m late on my review but a few months ago, had late lunch with my co workers for a meeting. This restaurant was not my pick. Well everyone was served their lunch while I waited for my tri tip sandwich. Basically had to ask for a box to go because everyone was done with their food. The tri tip was dry. I was disappointed with the food and the service. I am being generous with the second stars. I will stick to Valle Eatery + Bar. That is the place to go!

My husband & I heard wonderful things about the breakfasts at this restaurant but since it was evening, we decided on a whim to go for dinner. We were seated right away & chose a booth which was very low & uncomfortable. I’m on the short side, and I couldn’t even drink my water without spilling as I had to tilt it very far over to reach my mouth. We began our meal with clam chowder which desperately needed salt. My husband, who hardly ever adds salt to anything, needed to add salt to his too. But other than that, it was just okay. Nothing special. Next we both had the tri-tip sandwich with au-jux. First, the tri-tip was very dry - it even had dry edges that curled & became crunchy. There was nothing on the bread except for the dry meat. Next, the au-jux was so weak we even tried stirring it thinking that maybe the good flavors had just sunk to the bottom of the bowl. It didn’t. The entire presentation lacked any kind of care or thought. It was very disappointing & I have zero desire to go back again. The restaurant was nearly empty & we came at 6pm. The evening sky through the windows was lovely & our server was nice although he had no idea what time they opened for breakfast. Our first impression was basically a non-impression. Bland, boring, dull & basic. I would not recommend & we won’t be going back.

My family and I stop here often. They recognize us and always greet us warmly. There is paper on the tables for kids to color on which my son loves.

I have been here three times to eat and the food is delicious. The servers and bartender are service oriented. The food is reasonably priced.

The food was outstanding, and both my mother and I received generous portions for lunch. We both had plenty leftover to take home. The service and atmosphere was outstanding as well. We live in Santa Maria and we will definitely come back. It is worth the trip.

Ordered four burritos online, They said that they would be ready in 20 minutes, After the 20 minutes, I drove down , I waited inside of the restaurant for another 30 minutes And we ordered a sausage burrito bacon burrito and 2 chicken fried steak burritos, the burritos were just eggs and potatoes that’s about it no meat what so ever.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We came here for breakfast with my family, and everything was amazing! The food was delicious, fresh, and came out quickly. The staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome right away. The kids loved their meals, and Brenda and I really enjoyed ours too. Great portions, fair prices, and a cozy local spot that feels like home. Definitely one of the best breakfast places in town—we’ll be coming back often!

Great dinner at Dave’s Place in the Village Inn. Started with the artichoke appetizer which was expertly prepared and presented. The wine menu was super local! The strawberry and arugula salad with tritip was excellent. The prime rib was melt in your mouth good. Servers were very attentive and courteous. Definitely will be back and will bring more people. They also have separate rooms for private events.
