It's always worth the one hour drive from our home to enjoy lunch or brunch at the High Hand Cafe where you can enjoy your meal while you feel you're eating in a beautiful "greenhouse" we've consistently enjoyed delicious breakfasts and sandwiches. They are adjacent to a nursery and a pretty incredible koi pond. So, if you do not have a reservation and there is a wait...it goes by pretty quickly as you meander through the grounds. And even after, there are shops and a wine tasting option on the premises! THE STAFF... each and every time we've visited, we have come away thinking and feeling how nice it is to enjoy a meal served by an entire staff that truly enjoy serving, Always pleasant and with a smile. Give High Hand Cafe a try...you'll enjoy the entire experience!!Kid-friendliness: We have visited High Hand Cafe with the kids, the staff is attentive and quick to take our order and deliver the meal! There is even an outdoor pizza oven so the kids enjoyed seeing their pizza being made!

High-Hand Cafe is a truly enchanting establishment. It is a delight to uncover such hidden gems that offer a delightful combination of delectable cuisine, picturesque scenery, and cordial service. While I did not partake in the pizza, it certainly appeared appetizing. The nursery setting, adorned with an array of plants and flowers, adds a unique charm to the ambiance, creating the sensation of dining within an enchanted forest.I highly recommend this establishment as a must-visit destination.

I love this place. Have you seen all the greenery and flowers they have inside, it’s amazing. Food is tasty, service is excellent. After you finish your drink or a meal go outside and stall the wonderful flower.pots, small shops around the area.

Great place in a small town. We had a large group of about 8 and a reservation ahead of time.We waited for a bit upon arrival but the grounds were very nice to walk around. It's a quasi nursery/ restaurant setting that has a very nice atmosphere.I brought my dog and he enjoyed walking around and smelling the smells. Our hostess was very attentive and really worked hard for our table.Overall a very nice experience and I would definitely go back in the future!

We had our wedding reception here years ago. We returned for lunch. The food was just "meh" which was a total disappointment. The tuna melt and fish tacos were super saucy, fishy, and bland. The coffee was good. Service was strange. Total let down for lunch.

Very strange visit - it was the 2nd time we've visited. Our Waiter was slow to show up, and he had someone else bring the food. No one came to offer us a bottle of water; neither did either of them return to check on whether we needed anything else, like condiments OR drink refills (they lost $40+ in business on that alone). Truly unfriendly. I almost went to get condiments & drink refills myself! This is NOT the way to TREAT GUESTS. Remember GUESTS ? - you know, the ones that pay your salaries.Half of my potatoes were hard & dry, like they'd been left in the hotel pan on low heat for a couple of hours.I think the actual waitstaff quit & they used their dishwashers wait tables. We were NOT the only people looking for their Servers!I used to love the food here, but this trip was absolutely dreadful. I wish I hadn't tipped the server at all, considering he ditched us. This WAS my birthday brunch. There went $150.

Very disappointing. Nice facility, but nothing else was worth the visit. Our two lunch meals were ok, nothing special at all, except the price, that was top of the line. The service was poor, but the server had plenty of time to fuss over other tables. We were as clean and well-dressed as anyone there, we didn't give picky orders, there wasn't any reason for such poor service. Better food and service aren't hard to find.

Probably my favorite restaurant ever. Every single item is absolutely delicious. The ambience is so peaceful and beautiful. The service is always impeccable. I wish I lived closer, but I always make a point to eat here whenever I visit Sacramento.

This cafe was such a nice surprise. We had a great upscale lunch in the garden! I ordered the pear, bacon, and blue cheese pizza and it was absolutely delicious. This cafe is part of a multibusiness complex by the same owner. There's a garden shop next to it and an olive oil vendor. Maybe a brewery too?Upscale clientele, great food, and a great choice for lunch or dinner ❤️
