THE RAGAZINO CALZONE IS ADDICTING, AND I GET IT ALMOST EVERYTIME, YOU CAN TELL THEY MAKE THERE FOOD WITH LOVE, AND TASTES SO SO FREASH AND HEALTHY MORE THAN ANY OTHER FAMILY OWNED PIZZA RESTAURANT, WHICH IS HARD TO FIND ONE THESE DAYS THAT ISNT OVER COMMERCIALIZED FOR PROFITS, WHICH TAKES AWAY FROM QUALITY, IN YRYING TO SELL QUANTITY. THIS PLACE IS A TRUE GEM! ALL WOOD FIRED IN A PIZZA OVEN WITH FAMILY RECIPES THAT WOULD WIN AWARDS! HANDS DOWN MY MOST FAVORITE PIZZA PLACE! ALSO EXTREMELY CLEAN AND WELL KEPT!

Located in the heart of Loomis, Il Pizzailo is a great place to grab an authentic Italian pizza. Due to a real stone oven, the pizza always comes out with an authentic tasting dough. They also have a selection of Italian beers to go with your order. The biggest complaint I have is the noise level tends to be rather high seeing as the walls and floor are all stone and there is no sound-proofing.

I ordered 2 pizzas and neither has enough toppings on them, and the crust was huge. As much as I enjoy serving local companies, this wasn’t worth the money.

Oh my goodness. The food is amazing. I had the Italian Sandwich with mortadella and salami. Sooooo good. I also ordered the margarita Pizza. Just yummy. We also got the canolis for desert. They were super crunchy, fresh and delicious. I will be back here for sure. Staff was amazing too. Thumbs up to this amazing little place.

i’m almost worried that if I leave such a high review, people won’t stop coming here… But the truth is this is probably the best pizza in town and all of Sacramento and the people are just incredible. Thank you for everything you do and feeding our family for the past 3 years.

So happy to have found this place! Casual vibe and lovely downtown Loomis location but the star is the food!! Pizza was amazing, spaghetti was delish too...and even the Caesar salad. Bravo to chef. Simple menu but the quality of ingredients was noticeable. Finished with an amazing homemade tiramisu. Very friendly and capable service. Thank you !!! Will be regulars from now on.

We had them cater a birthday party at our house and it was incredible. Pete and his team were professional, courteous and served some delicious pizza and salad to our 65 guests. They brought a pizza oven on a trailer and set up shop right in our front yard. Everyone kept raving about how great the food was throughout the evening. We would definitely have them cater future parties and would recommend to anyone as a great option for a large crowd! Thank you!
